A Merman is attacking.

The sodium being taken in by his gills with the sea water becomes Lye.
----one cubic foot---- in, through, around, out, and as much as it takes to become a cubic foot of LYE.

If one argues you must target the seaWATER ....Salt content:

'A cubic foot of seawater contains about 2.2 pounds of salt' according to San Diego State University."

If it is water that is targeted it becomes ten cubic feet and then 22 POUNDS of salt---

Definitely going to be some fort and concentration checks...acid damage as well?

Wizards use a Vancian magic system.

For players who've never been exposed to that sort of idea, Sorcerers' mechanics for casting magic is much more intuitive. Sorcerers know some number of spells, and they can make magic happen some number of times per day. Easy peasy.

Necro'd for appreciation of Vancian lore.

Using it for years but a bit tech ignorant.

Am I able to save all my PC's in a campaign as a party instead of individual files from the file tab?

There is a party option but trying to use it only allows a single character save.

Tyvm in advance.

Just wanted to keep your minds sharp...Kingmaker has made peoples minds eye a little lazy.

It would seem that adding Dex to damage would make a Ranger (insert dex class here) unquestionably more powerful, and leave fighters solely for flavor ( and I love my Fighters).

It is a ring that activates when combat initiates, summoning a monster as if using the summon monster spell.

I Have noticed while seeking an angle on characters to add flavor to my sons games (He is GM, sibling and myself PC) that almost everyone that discusses archetypes weigh negative min/max number crunching heavier than the RP in the rpg, example:

Free Hand Fighter
I you don't take weapon finesse and max dex than this is called useless for anything other than Duelist and Eldritch Knight, mainly due to an ability at a later level giving you a situational shield disarm, and that you trade med/hvy armor for ac boosts...blah blah blah.

What about
...the child dreaming of the fighter with his short-sword bouncing harmlessly off the giant spiders carapace, while dangling from the spiders hairy back with one hand...
...the wizard concentrating to hold in a chortle while casting the meddling fighters doom, who seemed unable to prevent his demise, though only across a table due to the summoned skeleton he was dueling, till he reached out and grabbed the mug of orc cider with HIS FREE HAND...

Just a friendly reminder to PLAY the game sometimes too.
