Either course of action works for me. But I believe Darkone just wants to be fully prepared for anything. So she wants to rest to regain her expended spells. Castian did this as well, but he studied a spellbook. Darkone must have some morning ritual when the land is still dark from the night to regain her spells. Though I think it is best to fortify our position as much as possible. Let's leave this as a possible escape route. Even though we don't know where it leads, it's away from Elias. For with a barbed tail similar to his, the devil probably has poison in it. And Ternock doesn't want to deal with that at the current moment.
Ternock then nimbly moves through the air away from the devil, hoping to gain a better position.

Thankfully his armor came in handy as it stopped the blow from connecting. Ternocks face becomes overcome with anger and rage. Flee Devil! You are no match for a DRAGON!!! Ternock then turns to face the devil. With Seeker flanking from behind Ternock strikes at the devil.
Ternock will fly over to a Gendarme and stab him to sleep!
