As they exit the forum, they find that the rogue was right, and the guard was standing erect at his post.
"Oh right! You're not from around here. What I meant was, we could ask the ones around here who are more knowledgeable about the goings-on of the rest of the guard, even if they're a little mean--or we could go closer to the east quarter, where the guards are nicer, but less knowledgeable."
