"Stave Off Corruption" has a line where it states the smallest price of it's components is 25gp and which component is used for vampiric corruption. If we look up the component, it costs 1 silver to buya pound. Is it intentional to need 250 pound of component to cast the spell?

I just got this book and have a problem with the planar extremist wording. It says their Eidolon gets the share spells ability, but the share spells ability says it only works for spells on the summoner spell list. Is this intended?
