Sorry, I had an "incident" at Wal-Mart yesterday where a dude was wanting to fight me for "disrespecting his family," (I stood my ground and he backed off = I won because I'm 5'2" and was wearing a DJ PON3 shirt) I almost spoiled the ending to MGSV for myself, and no pizza because my refrigerator went out again. Needless, my clan mates and I played games all night to detox. xD I'll post right quick. Uret knows what happened! O:<
Also - yes, my ex and I PvP my monk half-orc vs. her swashbucker dragon faerie once and I've considered the SB OP ever since xD
XD It's funny because the parry would still fail against the 25 attack roll anyway - I left out the plus two flanking bonus on my rolls, so it should have been nat20+5 = 25 attack, and critconfirm+5 = 7. So Justin can die happy knowing that he got a stab in on the captain FOR DMITRI'S HONOUR!!

Nodding his head with an accepting expression, Justin removed the blank book from his backpack and quickly took note of Captain's information, adding a note to the side titling it, Mystery of the Disappearing Druids. Getting this new lead on the druids and recording it in his log has Justin feeling like a real Investigator. As if he's played this role before... "Okay - thanks for the information! Every bit helps solve the mystery! We'll see you again sometime in the future - I look forward to sparring with you myself!" Raising his fist into the air, he smiles at the captain hoping that he can work him over himself one day. Giving the captain a salute, he turns back towards his friends and awaits their next move while trying to wake Brian up. "It sounds like you're experiencing 'Phantom Pain.' Where the body remembers the pain even after the limb is gone.. Except yours is remembering the wound even after it's healed. I'm sure it'll pass, but I'm not expert.. We'll get you an intoxicating drink when this is over - I'm sure that'll help!" He says to Dmitri as he kneels next to Brian. "I'm not sure any of us really could even lift him to be honest," he look to Jerimiah with a shrug. "Too bad we don't have any permanent markers or coal.. We could draw on his face and make him look ridiculous!"
Lol And on the note of gallivanting - I must retire for the evening (actually morning) so I'm not utter rubbish at work tomorrow! It was an intense moment for our PCs though - well worth it! Good night all xD

COMPLICATION: Addiction: Sometimes, one little taste is all you need to be hooked. To be captured in the snares of a substance. Something that creates such a wonderful and potent effect on you that your cravings literally cause you pain when you’re without it. It’s times like this that you wish there was more public education on these things, but honestly - who could’ve guessed that canned cat food could be addicting to your species? Monstrous: Apparently wearing a helmet and battle suit with a trench coat over-top is still unappreciated on this planet. Due to his inhuman appearance, he never allows himself to be without his stealth suit outside his base. Though it hides his features well-enough, it still leads people to be untrusting and suspicious of him in public when he has to interact with others. When interaction is avoidable, he prefers to keep invisible, so that prying eyes will not fall on to him. Motivation - Patriotism: You have a mission, and you will fulfill that mission. Some might see being sent to another planet as a punishment - as being exiled. You have a higher sense of honour though. This isn’t your fault - this is your duty. You’ve been tasked with serving as a defender of Earth and its inhabitants indefinitely because you’ve proven that you are capable, and you will fulfill that mission even if it means you never get to return home. Sometimes this may mean protecting the planet from the very people that occupy it, and sometimes it may mean defending Earth from your own race - the threat doesn’t matter. It’s just your job to be ready. Backstory:
Raised on the distant planet of Uur’thrana, Mk’voryal grew following his father’s honourable footsteps. His family life was basic for their species, and their status was only raised so slightly by being involved in the military. Mk’voryal was just your average Uur’tharanan, until he began to show interest in his father’s career. This gave him direction - a chance to hone some talents and to develop into something more. As the years passed and the alien grew, he was accepted into the military and would eventually specialize in infiltration and other “black ops.” Taking a preference towards range, he studied close-quarters combat as well should the need arise, and under his father’s guidance Mk’voryal would do his family proud. Though there were greater warriors than him, his talents would be appreciated by the military leaders who deemed him worthy of a special mission. A new program was under development: one where they would send operatives to other planets to help protect the inhabitants there. After extensive profiling and surveying, Mk’voryal was determined to be perfect for serving as a defender of Earth. When the news reached their home, he was more than proud to serve his commander and still holds his position with the highest regards to this day. Though he knows that he will never be able to return home, just knowing that he is honourably serving his planet, his family, and himself is more than enough to keep him going. Personality Example:
Mk'voryal appears in front of cashier with armloads of cat food. Mk’voryal: “I request you to charge me for these.” Cashier: “WHAO, WHAT THE F!+#?? How did you do that??” Mk’voryal: “I merely approached from your blind-side after determining what was required in this convenience outlet. I have done nothing abnormal.” Cashier: “I… This.. Sure, okay - lemme ring this up for you..” Cashier totals the purchase. Cashier: “…This sure is a lot of cat food…” Mk’voryal: “THERE IS NO NEED FOR YOU TO INVESTIGATE FURTHER. I MERELY SEEK THESE FOR NORMAL PURPOSES. TERMINATE YOUR DESIRES FOR INVESTIGATION. ARE YOU NOT THE ABNORMAL ONE FOR SEEKING PROFUNDITY IN SOMETHING SO MUNDANE???” Cashier: “…. Well, you see: a long time ago - longer now than it seems - in a place that, perhaps, you've seen in your dreams... Toby, Brian, Jerimiah, and I are all active in another campaign called, After Dark. Toby's the DM, Brian's character is "Isagoras the Light," Jerimiah's is "Dave Wakalaka-ski," (lol sorry dave, can't remember them polish name) and my own is the fairest, most handsomest, and powerful of the them all: "Joesph Adams." The campaign is a modern, macabre setting surrounding the paranormal activity (f+#@ that movie - why did I force that pun...) taking place in-and-around fictional location "Arzata, New Mexico." Isagoras, as a character, has displayed some subtle similarities with Brian - in the ways I listed above - and it led me to theorize that they are actually related. Seeing as Brian and Isagoras (along with the rest of our characters across these campaigns) are from the same "modern world," it's entirely possible that Dmitri could visit Joey over in New Mexico if he ever makes it back to the present x3 Stuff like that - very fun to think about. Isagoras meets babe in the past, woos her, gets her infected with pregnancy, she births his hellspawn, that spawn goes on to spawn other spawns, the cycle continues until Isagoras is born in the future. The very same future that Brian has came from! Ergo, Brian could have the chance to observe the changes that generations upon generations of offspring has had on his lineage's genetics! Assuming he isn't eaten by wolves during his exploits in the past, at least ;P And Toby has potential to be Dave's ancestor.. Both are mysterious, both (presumably) like sombreros... Now all that's left is to figure out if Jerimiah is actually Joey's ancestor... Both are intelligent, obsessed with the occult/magic, and have familiars... I second the notion of paper-manipulation. For some reason, that has always been a kickass ability in my book ^^ I'd say roll with that, unless you become inspired by something else.

Eyeing the alleged "encampment," Justin can't help but feel that it seems more... urban than previously described. As they approach, he whispers to Dmitri, "What do you think this means? I was honestly expecting a type of fairy-esque, forest people... Or some Irish folk. This doesn't seem to fit either criteria." Glancing down to his gloves while they walk, he idly chimes, "It's ironic that you would use this as your signature when making these gloves too, Jerimiah - in the Chinese zodiac, I was born under the sign of the Horse... The Horse and the Rat hate each other." With a chuckle, he grins and adds, "Seems like Ms. Speckles and I are destined rivals!"

Hopefully they'll just stay away because if my laptop and the like ever got stolen, I would be devastated ; A; On the plus side, I got a role for a person's personal animated series they're working on x3 They just need two more female roles to fill and then it should be full, I believe. I'm excited though - I've been itching to do voice acting work for a long time now xD The character seems like they're going to have a long of fun parts too - I'll share some stuff whenever things get finalized and what-not ^^ I just hope they don't decide to cancel the project xD

LMFAO My God, talk about a walk of shame xD He probably felt like the biggest idiot afterwards. That's grand. That's the issue I'm in too - no cell atm. Though, I don't mind - it's one less bill to pay. In emergency situations like that though, you really feel that "I have to do it this way or could die" fight-or-flight response, even if the bad guys aren't actually threatening (as it turned out due to them fleeing, but during the situation you don't know that!) Coworker told me, "See? I told you that's why you need a phone!"
Besides, the police will have to respond to the scene due to gunshots getting reported anyway, so it's basically a two-in-one device xD

@Danizen: Space isn't the issue, really - but rather, a lack of encounters occurring atm :P Your character sounds interesting though xD Maybe we'll get to see him in action soon enough.
