Lol I feel like you're saying you would like more NPC interaction but sound like you're saying you want to move things along quicker xD I'll agree with you and say that I definitely wouldn't mind getting to see deeper into the minds of these NPCs :) You spent a lot of time on this campaign, and I'd love to see the amount of depth you put into it. Seeing the bar scene get pushed like that kind of felt like it took away from a good opportunity for our characters to see what NPCs are like in this town and how our characters will react given the context (if any shady folk are watching them, does Brian get-some from the well-dressed lady, will Toby get drunk and start dancing on tables, et cetera).
So I'm with Brian on this one: don't be afraid to throw some depth at us :)
Also - as a side note - Brian: nothing you can say will ever convince me that Brian isn't Isagoras' ancestor!!
1) They're both summoners, with a preference towards Eagles. (Clearly a lineage trait)
2) They both have a complex method of communicating. (For keeping only those worthy close)
3) They're both players. (I saw the way Isagoras was looking at that receptionist!)
4) They both have a love for alcohol. (Joey + Isagoras = Tequila)
5) They are both set in the same "world," Brian is just in the past now.
If Brian ever goes to Arzata, New Mexico - I'm sure he'd hear about some strange events that have happened. He may even bump into someone that seems to bear a strange semblance to him.
Conclusion: Brian's pre-history f~@!ery has created Isagoras' lineage. Without that busty bar NPC vs. Brian's nat20 Diplo, Stacey and Joey may have never made it out alive! Dave may have succumbed to the shredder as well! ARZATA MAY HAVE FALLEN TO FIRE CULTISTS!
The two campaigns have officially been connected. xD

It's pretty much as these two have said, and they've done fantastic at voicing my own feelings. Good job, mind readers. Good job. I don't have much else to add other then-
TD, YOU'RE CRAZY. ....A crazy genius. It all makes sense now! Clearly Toby is Dave's own ancestor as well, what with being a ninja and all.

Well, you see: a long time ago - longer now than it seems - in a place that, perhaps, you've seen in your dreams...
Toby, Brian, Jerimiah, and I are all active in another campaign called, After Dark. Toby's the DM, Brian's character is "Isagoras the Light," Jerimiah's is "Dave Wakalaka-ski," (lol sorry dave, can't remember them polish name) and my own is the fairest, most handsomest, and powerful of the them all: "Joesph Adams."
The campaign is a modern, macabre setting surrounding the paranormal activity (f@$$ that movie - why did I force that pun...) taking place in-and-around fictional location "Arzata, New Mexico."
Isagoras, as a character, has displayed some subtle similarities with Brian - in the ways I listed above - and it led me to theorize that they are actually related. Seeing as Brian and Isagoras (along with the rest of our characters across these campaigns) are from the same "modern world," it's entirely possible that Dmitri could visit Joey over in New Mexico if he ever makes it back to the present x3 Stuff like that - very fun to think about. Isagoras meets babe in the past, woos her, gets her infected with pregnancy, she births his hellspawn, that spawn goes on to spawn other spawns, the cycle continues until Isagoras is born in the future. The very same future that Brian has came from! Ergo, Brian could have the chance to observe the changes that generations upon generations of offspring has had on his lineage's genetics! Assuming he isn't eaten by wolves during his exploits in the past, at least ;P
And Toby has potential to be Dave's ancestor.. Both are mysterious, both (presumably) like sombreros... Now all that's left is to figure out if Jerimiah is actually Joey's ancestor... Both are intelligent, obsessed with the occult/magic, and have familiars... Hmmmmmmm - I'll be on the look-out for more conditions >;)
Coming soon: "Dmitri's ancestry reveal - the untold story!"
@Brian: Hiiissss, waiting, hissssss!

Lol It has been a fun ride thus far, full of frustratingly low-rolls and shenanigans xD Maybe you're interested and beg enough Rando will let you join sometime~
I've enjoyed it though, and I've enjoyed this campaign as well ^^ What has really made it enjoyable is all of you grand folk and your keen RP techniques x3 Definitely love seeing the characters interacting with each other in all their hilariously and often asinine ways!

Thank you for your support in my desire to display my hard work in my characters. Give me a hint if it goes on too long, but I will gladly accommodate any desire you have for RP with NPCs. We can continue with the bar scene on that note. Thank you everyone for the opportunity to do this campaign with you all. You are each excellent PCs. Thank you for your time and effort.

Okay, aaaand, -now- seems like a good time to move on to next morning. If Jeb was gonna start an intra-party romance, I'd give it all week, that don't look like it gonna happen, so if the next DM post moves us on to to the events of the next day, that seems quite fine.
Jus' sayin'.

Jerimiah Spilane |

I'm quite fine with moving on myself, this bar scene was fun though. Great RP opportunities. And poor Toby, 'ol Jerimiah just trust any of you. And likely more then a little uncomfortable with the thought of intimacy.

I oversee and report for all of Utah to the South West Regional Venture Coordinator who is right under the people in Paizo HQ. I cover all of Utah, the Venture Lieutenant covers a city or region in Utah, a Venture Agent covers a specific store. GMs report to Agents, Agents report to Lieutenants, Lieutenants report to Captains, Captains report to Regional Coordinators who report to Paizo. Same chain for conflict resolution and event planning.
NOTE: I WOULD NEVER LEAVE YOU GUYS!

Jerimiah does have that whole 18 CHA going on, he'd make very good use of it.

I am totally behind the use of Leadership...but we go by the book with it. You Minion goes on your initiative. Do know, I will severely limit or disallow it completely if you seem like your breaking it. I'm huge proponent of the feat, but breaking character feats is one easy way to get on my bad side...I only say this cause leadership can easily be used to break things. I trust you, Brian. Go for it. (FYI, the moment everyone goes to the temple or some other notable place that might have people you can train with, you all are ready to level.) I used leadership to play a CAD Fighter with a Cavalier...they were an amazing team on the battle field...I've also seen others use it like so... "oh, I fail that roll? Okay I'll reroll through my minion in the middle of combat and use that minion to block incoming attacks when they are in melee combat and unaware of my need. What? It says it's a swift action to command them like that...no, I'm not playing as if he reads my mind." So just keep in mind, they are people too. They have their own tactics and thoughts, yes, but they revere you enough to follow you and heed your command, use them like a comrade in arms, not a mind linked clone that can use "Stop Time Spell at will SLA". I'm sure you won't, You're a good man and I trust you. It's why I offered.

*false anger mode*
OH, I SEE HOW IT IS. You trust Brian and not good ol' Jerimiah eh? I see how this is, I see.

Eh. I've been burned on the Leadership feat because of another campaign that fell apart. It dissolving was in no way related to the Leadership feat, but it was an integral part of the campaign, so I just have a bad taste in my mouth whenever I consider taking leadership. Dmitri is more of a cohort anyway, what with being a bodyguard and all :-P

We argued over what can be done per turn with swashbuckling fighter build. I thought I could parry and repost the spear weilder take my full turn than parry the samurai as well, Dmitri disagreed. Rather than argue the point, I deleted my comments pertaining and let him take his turn. I thought it would be better that way.

Yep yep. Sure is active this hour, I approve of such.

Whatever you do, do NOT listen to what my Location says. It's totally lies and blasphemy. Obviously.
