Lanx, can I make a small request?
Could you please make a different alias for you as a "GM" that has a different name than your DMPC? I think if we want to address a in-game concern, it would be easier to call you by something else. You can pick anything you want, and I think "GM Lord High Captain-General Awesomenss" is still free. (But you better grab that fast, or I might just steal it on you. =)

Y'know, it kinda is.
Especially if you see your omnipresent force as Billy Connelly. =0)

Jrremiah has a plan to bring music to the fantasy world... Come the time he obtains craft wondrous, the foundations are laid for the worlds first arcane boombox!
Uret Jet
Now I'm excited! If they come back from this venture as third or higher level, you can bet he's gonna start work on the greatest magical item our group will ever acquire. I have an entire scene imagined in my head about it too, even. ...I'm in too deep!
Uret Jet
Halp... I'm listening to German pop music now despite not knowing what's being sung...

Just like me with this.
No idea what's being said, but it puts me in my happy place!

My guilty pleasure.
Apparently in Japan this is a thing. (Srsly, I have absolutely no clue why they're wearing masks. XD)

Ok, since we're airing out dirty laundry (anonymously :-P)... My Super Sekrit Feel-Good Song
I don't think Yaara Ndor is ready for us and our music XP
Uret Jet
Ahem, in reality though, if while we're on the subject of cool music videos: OPM's opening theme is best.
Also, your last link didn't work mate

So, after watching Les Twins, I clicked on the Jabberwookees, and they do an unbelievable 10-minute set of synch'd dance. Wow.
But no convo about WTF dance is complete with the insanity that is the blandly named West Springfield dance team.

But the best opening award goes to this...

Then I respond with the awesomely named Top Secret Drum Corps, from Switzerland!
Edit: added better video

Lol Oooooh, I love it! Stuff like that is why I chose percussion when I was in band back in high school x3 Wish I was that good xD

Are you guys slowing down posts because we all feel directionless? Do we need some obvious carrot in front of us?
I get the feeling that we've been randomly wandering a desert for a few days with nothing to show for it, and we're just staring at another random encounter.
While none of us like rails, it is nice to at least have a purpose.

Yeah. We're looking at our second kinda random encounter here and no real direction. While -I- know that you've got everything mapped out in a Skyrim-esque level of detail, I'm not seeing that the character is feeling any kind of connection, or direction. I mean, we came out this way to "find something" and we really haven't found anything.
Also, as a rule of thumb don't have anything more than a day of travel away. Not at the start. Leaving your base just to walk aimlessly for days and days does not an epic adventure make.
This is all just IMO. Everyone is different. YMMV. =)
(Also, listing the current hit points of the enemies is a very, very good idea and is very very helpful. =) Feel free to also put in if the enemy is unconscious or not. Like you could just have that as zombie 3's status. =)

The part of the storyline quest you are in is a drastic change in which you and the group have a rude awakening to the fact that this world holds dangers you only thought were fiction or simple stories. This is the first encounter you will have...and it's not really random. You had three groups pass by during the night and you followed the most recent one. There may be more groups coming this same route or this may be it. They are, so far, not very strong. This "random encounter" is very connected to your tracking, but you currently do not know why or how...You will find out more soon.

SORRYSORRYSORRY, I've been away, guys D: Life has thrown a lot at me lately, from people trying to break into my apartment (with me in it! >:c), to helping my coworker clean out his house, and getting a studio microphone and attempting to build a VA's portfolio. (The last one's really the only good thing that life threw at me xD)
But now that everything has slowed down, I'll be posting regularly again :) Or trying to at least ^^;

No f+&!ing shit? O: Small world, it is! xD
Sure, I'll email you some lines I'm going to do for an audition on a person's little personal project. I've always wanted to voice act - it's been a lifelong dream for me and it's exciting to finally see the opportunity coming my way ^^
@Attylas:
It'a Voice Actor ^^ Like a voice over artist for cartoons, narrations, or - one of my personal favourites - dramatic readings! :) I've done some readings in the past, and it's really fun to see people enjoying your stuff ^^ I'm going to get back into that too - gonna find some popular fanfic somewhere and do a dramatic reading of it to establish a network of peers, as it were xD

Whoa, there, Hard Charger. Let's talk about this a bit. =)
As a rule-of-thumb, you can give a scene change two days. The bar was a scene change, from Town, Exterior.
I'm not telling any secrets when I say that I have thought things were moving a bit slow, but I'm more than willing to give a scene-change a chance. I mean, we were in the bar specifically to get data from an NPC about 1) the town and 2) quests. Also, Brian has a 3) sex. =p
Hence, ya, lets just ignore that part where "time passes" and give all these wonderful, well-filled out NPCs a chance to come out and play.
Tell ya what, GM, this might be breaking kayfabe a bit, but I feel that there are two NPCs that, if given a chance, can take -cardinal- roles here: The Guard That Seems Helpful And Perhaps Wants More From Life can easily be promoted to Sidekick (both TD and Dave do well with Sidekicks. =)
Also, give yourself the opportunity to pick a prime female NPC of yours and give her a _real_ description. "Well Dressed" is for NPCs with an exclamation mark over their heads that give a quest and a reward and are easily forgotten. However,
"She's wearing a chiffon dress of emerald green that rolls off her shoulders like a dream about fresh-cut grass, revealing just a hint of cleavage like a flower covered hill-top coming out of the morning fog. She smiles at you with a mouth full of pearl-white teeth and eyes that flash like azure fire. Around her neck hangs a simple necklace of silver chain embracing a modest lump of amber--either she can't afford any more, or it has some sentimental value. Her hands have soft callouses that speak of either a life recently hard, or a hard life recently left. She asks you if you'll be in town long with a voice as high as clouds and light as breath."
THAT is for an NPC chosen from a cast of 10,000. Bring it on. Let's dance. =)
