Savage Tide AP from 3.5 has tons of lost city/jungle dungeons.

(Related to the Isle of Dread suggestion above).

I was able to find a good candidate for lifting in one of these.

Thank you!

Hi all,

I'm looking for a dungeon with a jungle temple theme to use in the (non-Serpent's Skull) AP I'm currently running as a replacement for a dungeon I don't like much in that module. I'm assuming this AP is probably the best place to find candidates but it's hard to tell what's actually in each book.

I'd be aiming for a moderate length (the sort of thing that usually takes up about ~1/3-1/4 of a standard module) dungeon to represent a Bad Guy's jungle stronghold, ideally for around 12th level PCs (but can work with any level if necessary). Any suggestions on which book(s) contain viable candidates?

Thanks in advance

You might have better luck in the forum for the AP in question, but then again you might not, depending on how frequented said forum is these days. Serpent's Skull would be my first pick, but that might be the AP you're running. If it is, then the forum for that AP has a bunch of alternative stuff one can use in place of some of the AP material, as a lot of GMs/players found book 5 to need some work.

In fact, scratch the above. My first pick would be to look at alternate material in the Serpent's Skull subforum rather than Serpent's Skull itself. YMMV, though.

I guess there's no reason to keep it secret- the AP I'm running is Strange Aeons and the dungeon I'm looking to replace is the last one in the fourth book. It doesn't seem like anyone else has done so, based on the forum for it.

I was thinking about Serpent's Skull (I know it seems to have a bad reputation but I really just need a map and some ideas for traps/treasure and such). It's just so hard to judge what's in each random AP- most of the descriptions seem to mention lost cities and I'm not sure if that's code for jungle themed dungeons or a genuine city.

May head over to that forum and ask for suggestions. Thank you!

Hi all,

I have a very specific question (apologies if this is the wrong forum): in the AP I'm currently running I've made enough story edits that one of the module's last dungeon doesn't really make sense. I'm looking for a "jungle temple" (broadly defined- fortresses, lost cities, etc. could all work) dungeon to replace it with.

Any ideas on APs, modules, etc. which contain something suitable? I'm not looking for a mega dungeon- a couple floors, around the length that would usually account for 1/3 of an AP. Ideally aimed at 12th level adventurers so I could use some of the written material without editing, but I don't mind completely retrofitting a different level dungeon if necessary.

Thank you!

Hello!

I'm trying to checkout on the website but every time I get to the "Place your Order" button I get stuck in an endless loop- pushing it puts me back on the place my order screen with no error message.

I've tried resetting cookies but it had no effect. Am I missing something?

Done. Thanks for the help!

Sure. What address should I email them to?

Hello,

I received Strange Aeons #1 as a gift over Christmas. I just started reading it and realized that the copy I have is missing pages and has many pages out of order.

Specifically, at page 16 my copy jumps directly to page 33-48 before resetting to page 33-end of the module. So I'm essentially missing pages 17-32 and pages 33-48 repeat. I received this as a gift and so do not have an order number, although I can probably get the number if it's necessary.

Thank you so much (the extended edition looks like a ton of fun)

For the record, it is amazingly cool that you still do this six+ years after the module was published.

Thanks you for the reply. I really love the Broken Chains idea -- I've had that module for a while and always wanted to use it, but for some reason didn't make the obvious setting/level connection with LoF.

In retrospect I feel kind of silly for making this thread. Just reading the first page of this forum has already given me more ideas than I can handle (I love this community).

I'd also like a copy of the Director's Cut.

Thank you for all your work.

Hey everyone

Recently my group asked me to run Legacy of Fire for them once we've finished up our current campaign.

I've run Legacy of Fire start to finish before and loved it, so I said yes. I am planning on changing quite a bit, though, both to keep it fresh and to fix the issues I had with the AP last time.

I already have a list of changes in mind, but was curious if anyone else had any ideas about ways to modify or add stuff to any part of LoF. I don't need finished content or even fully thought out ideas: idle thoughts about stuff you think would be cool would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Almost never. It's an unnecessary hassle 95% of the time.

I do occasionally... with no deeper system than "whenever I feel it's necessary." (Luckily no cleric's in their party so I really only care whenver there's someone with Channel Positive with them/facing them, which is pretty rare.)
