Hill Dwarf Druid, basic background idea is that I've lived in the nearby forests as an hermit since before the founding of Wood Creek (if possible, seems from the description it's quite recent, being a small village and all)
When the settlement started growing, I became a herbalist/healer for the common folk, helping where I can while trying to guide the village towards an expansion that is in harmony with the surrounding wilderness; I would support the idea of securing the keep, by using a pre-existing building instead of harvesting the woods we could keep the damage to the natural enviroment to a minimum and preserve the forests
