But if he is would he be willing to share his power with himself? Or would he kill him just so he alone could rule their domain? And if he lets him live who will do what and who will be called what?

A Pratchettian magic shop. That is one that has always been at 13 Coatl crescent, but hadn't always been there yesterday.

An empty square of land, somewhere in the less scenic areas of the city. It is simply an area of land with an old fence around it, which has been empty longer than anyone living can remember. Those with an interest in buying the land are informed that the plot is "not under local jurisdiction".

1000
I think that right by binary.

But it might be prudent to allow a check of some kind to push out to get a breath of air.

How about the funniest ways a character has somehow NOT died?
Any players who have survivred despite the DM's greatest efforts?

Hopefully they won't notice us, If they do we all flee to R'lyeh.

You certainly inflict lead on people, in pipe form.

The craft rules.
As production times and material requirements are based on cost and as a quarter staff has no gp value you could rule wise produce an infinite amount of quarter staffs at any time without actually having any materials.

One of my players became a Vampire and very quickly succumbed to his evil side. To demonstrate his evil he herded the population of a large town into a cliff side fortress then set about a thousand barrels of gunpowder to explode in the barracks. While he was sitting up top gloating the other players turned into birds, flew up the tower and tried to stop him. Mid way throught the battle the powder went of killing everyone in side and sending the top of the fortress, where they were fighting, sliding into the town below. While they where falling the druid managed to turn into a bear grapple the vampire player and hold him still just long enough for the barbarian to cleave them in half.
The same druid also once tried to save an unconcious psion from a half dozen spider swarms by using shape stone to cover him. unfortunatly for him she left airholes, and didn't have another spell to get him out.

You could also create mundane weapons that get minor bonuses based on design. Like a katzebulger that gives you +2 to resist disarms, reach weapons that can attack at 5ft at a -2 penalty, or weapons that cost more but count as lower weapon categories (simple, martial, exotic) for the purpose of proficiency.

Hello, I am new to the message boards.
I’m about to start a new campaign in a world of my own creation and I was wondering how people have delivered information on their campaign worlds to their players before. I realise that player’s more often than not just want to kill the evil priest rather than hear the long proud history of his people, but I at least want to add some flavour to the campaign beyond "This ogre is different to other ogres, you can kill it now".
How have people delivered campaign information on cultures and history before, or seen delivered in published sources, in a way that won't bore the players?

I my self am 16 and I can easily remember playing when I was 13.
Nothing in the game really concerned me, my first character was a demon, because theres much worse stuff than what turns up in even darker sessions in movies, books, or other stories I was told.
I love Lovecraft to but Ive only been able to find a small assortment of his works.

Wizards can leave their spell slots blank to prepare later in the day, taking 15 minutes, so perhaps the ability could be used to shorten that preperation time so that given a couple of minutes a wizard could fill those slots.

Alternativly the ability could give the wizard an opportunity [int modifier per day times] to remove a spell that he has prepared and then spend 15 minutes to refill the slot. this way the wizard still has to Study and prepare, but gains some flexability without threatening sorcerers.
