I ran this recently for a group of newbies (I had one experienced player) at 1st level.
Massive amounts of opportunity for the GM to role-play and torment the PCs but beyond that, success in the scenario is really dependent on the PCs having a few select skills at max level (as the DCs are really high). Getting them past these encounters took fast thinking and fancy footwork on my part...
There is one encounter that is VERY hard - even for a full table of experienced players that are inventive and work as a team! With an inexperienced group, the GM has to soft-pedal this delicately to make it challenging but not fatal (and I'm talking TPK here).
Outside of the time constraints of PFS play, this would be a great scenario to play as the setting, story, and NPCs are excellent. Inside PFS time, you will be pushed for time to complete it unless you remove most of the RP opportunities...
