Sritaro will take the lead down the stairs, holding a vial alchemist's fire in his buckler hand to throw if another spider swarm appears.

Sritaro will otherwise take the front, using his armored bulk to protect the group with his weapon armed.

Since you wear light armor, you can be wearing it all the time. Also, I'll trust my fellow Pelinite to bot Sritaro.

A heads up, I'm going to be out of town for just over a week visiting family. I'll have limited internet access so I may be mute for a bit. Good luck handling any additional spiders/pirates/harlots!

Shaking his head that these people wish not to be healed, Sritaro turns to the party for guidance. "Well, what should we do here?"

Sensing a pause in the hostilities, Sritaro snaps Serpent's Tail around his waist before speaking out to the wary crowd. "Lay down your weapons and I will treat the injured."

Sritaro, surprised at the pirate's inebriated rage, can't help but feel pity for him, and decides to simply knock him out instead of mortally wounding his assailant. "It is not fitting that I ssslay such a pitiful man."

Non-lethal strike against the drunk pirate still attacking Sritaro: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (17) + 7 - 4 = 20

Damage if it succeeds: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

The now mass confusion as spiders and pirates fill the cave almost overwhelms Sritaro, leaving him open to the new would across his chest. He quickly closes his eyes to press his buckler hand over the would, sealing part of it with holy energy before turning to his pirate foe. "Perhaps we ssslay these beasts before we're ssspider food, then worry about each other!", before lashing his weapon at the spider between him and the pirate.

Shocked at the blasphemy brought to his ears, Sritaro lashes out angrily with his weapon yelling, "Pelina, forgive me for ssstriking down these heathens!"

Holding his holy symbol necklace of Pelina in his buckler hand, Sritaro takes lead in front of Morbak. The nagaji, sensing that things are going to go sour quickly, does his best to bring his bulk and holy righteousness to bear. "Stand down! Sssurrender now, and you have my word as a paladin of Pelina no harm shall come to you!" He continues, letting go of his necklace and Quick Drawing Serpent's Tail from his waist and pointing it at the closest bandit (action point part). "Resssist and we will bring Pelina's holy wrath upon you!

Intimidate to influence attitude (w/ Action Point):1d20 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 6 + (3) = 14

All that and I roll a 5 and a 3 (grabs Morbak's dice again)

Apparently, but the seedy tavern will still be there :P

Sritaro is a bit leery of handling Morbak's side quest of slaying vermin, especially with such a broad word. Still, he knows the half-orc to be a good person (he does worship Pelina after all), and hesitantly follows along with the hunter's instincts.

Not much of a strategist, Sritaro votes for the direct approach; head to the tavern they were warned not to head to. "I imagine we can find someone willing to part some useful information about the Tower, no?"

Ahh gotcha. Sense, it makes!

"Well, that is our bessst lead.", acknowledges Sritaro who nods in agreement. "I don't sssuppose there are any major issssues with that with everyone else?"

Then, the paladin brings the party into a smaller huddle, doing his best to speak as stealthily as an armored nagaji could be. "I am alssso thinking that perhaps we could hire Miss Loranda as our innkeep for the tavern... Blazing Saddles was it Zhiyo?"

I was thinking "Dragon's Call"; don't suppose Burning Stables would somehow be a Mel Brooks reference?

@Morbak: Do we have to start calling you 'The Exterminator'? :P

Party, are you thinking what I'm thinking? Sounds like we may have someone to run our tavern! Speaking of which, did we ever come up with a name for it?

It's not a wand of cure light wounds, but I can't use it reliably until level 4 anyway and I doubt a hamlet of this size would have that for purchase at least :P. In that case, I'll purchase 2 for emergency purposes.

I know it's a small town, but are small items like potions available?

Taking a sip of wine and sitting back in the chair, Sritaro responds. "Pleasssant isn't the word I would use, Mr. Morbak. It was a bit lively."

Sritaro continues some small talk, finally noticing that they alone remain as guests. "Ssso, how should we handle things here? I assume you wish to do sssell some wares while you're here... and maybe we can find out more information about any bandit-like activity within this area."

"Well, that was ssscertainly a change of pace.", is all Sritaro can muster, surprised at how the events turned out.

Ha'el, if you ever played the game Talisman, I've seen the drunk farmer at the Tavern kill a player before. We had a good laugh at that player's expense. :P

Sritaro, annoyed that Morbak took the cheap shot at the subdued farmer, drags the farmer to within speaking distance of the barmaid and Crispin and shouts in a commanding voice, "Now apologize to the fair woman like a gentleman, sssir!

Maintain grapple: 1d20 + 6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 5 = 17
Intimidate on the farmer to force an apology: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Sritaro was shocked and surprised at the drunken actions of the farmer. His shock is then shaken out when Morbak takes a punch defending the poor barmaid. By the time he gets up, the half-orc had already begun to retaliate, but Sritaro then moves to help Morbak pin the farmer. "Ssstand down sir!"

Sritaro, pleased his first that his first mission with his ATA allies was successful, offers to pay for lodging with his share of the bounty. He plans on portioning out a part of his rewards to give back to the church once they reach a chapel of Pelina or one of her orphanges.

Enjoying some mead with the group, the nagaji is more relaxed than he was when he first met the party. He is currently all ears for any tales Rogforo has to offer.

I'm not there, so I have no my character would have no immediate say, but I know dragons like their coins, although with the power of Rogforo and his mate, I'm not sure if there's enough to make a significant increase to their horde. Sylvia however...

Finally, although I'm with Rogforo, can I make claim to any of the items? Mostly a MW sling and a MW morning star, if those are able to be gifted/claimed.

Sritaro happily obliges with Rogforo's request; it was an honor to be of service to such a mighty being. While it's a bit awkward that he's being used as well as a parenting lesson, he knew he is not smart enough to question Rogforo's wisdom.

Sritaro, surprised at the increasing number of dragons, is in a bit of shock and awe. It is one thing to be in the presence of a youngling, but an elder dragon, even in humanoid form, earns the respect of scaled paladin.

"It isss an honor to meet you Rogforo. How may I be in ssservice?", greeting the dragon with a bow as the others round up the remaining bandits.

Once the all of the bandits are stabalized and upon hearing Crispin's concern for the missing Zhiyo, Sritaro will say a prayer of redemption over the bandits then start looking for the missing comrade.

Unless timed otherwise, Sritaro will use Sacred Touch to automatically stabalize those bleeding out.

Do I hear the commotion down below or will I need to Perception that?
