6 skills per level is a lot more than a fighter or Paladin gets in most cases. It is on Par with what a Ranger or Inquisitor would get if he had a Int of 10 or human and Int of 8.
I think their class skills could stand to be expanded a bit but they get as many as most martial classes and more than some.
I agree, I think between the 2 skills, and a 16 INT, the 5 or 6 points you will earn per level is enough. A wizard is only 2 skill points per level. I played one recently and though felt the points where lacking, I never found it hard to spend them into a nicely balanced character.
I totally dig this Magus class. I plan to test it out in my next game.
