Poor Quality Control and Customer Service

1/5

They lost 2 stars for the product and 2 stars for the shipping delay in comparison to their competition.

I purchased a blue set from Paizo and 4 days later purchased a green set from one of their east coast competitors. They both shipped the same day and arrived here 9 days after the Paizo set was ordered. I also paid 16 cents less for the east coast order. The money means nothing to me as I would pay a couple of dollars more gladly to support the local guys (I live 30 miles from Paizo), but in today's economy, you can't be moving that much slower than your competition and expect to get repeat business.

Now the green set came with 3 "Marked" tiles to the blue set's 2; 2 "Prone" tiles with none in the blue set; and the blue set included one each of the "bloodied", "invisible", and "stealth" tiles, none of which appeared in the green set. Each set contained 32 tiles, but that sort of quality control in the distribution of tiles, tells me I cannot trust the manufacturer and will not buy the other colors.

So in short, I cannot recommend this product and have decided to go with a different conditional marking solution.

Paizo's creative departments are top notch, best in the biz, IMO. But their shipping/logistics department needs a swift kick in the arse. They have lost my business for any products that I can purchase elsewhere.

Good...could have been Great

4/5

I do like the concept and I loved the customized touches to the new game world. However, I also have a problem with the small font. I can't believe saving a few trees is worth giving us all eye strain. There's nothing saying that we won't buy it if it has more than the previously ordained 96 pages. I also hope that in the future, there will be short stories to add even more depth to the new game world. The article on the pathfinder books was interesting, but I would have loved to hear more of some of those stories.

Overall a good effort...but it could have been great!
