Wow, I considered lycanthropes outside the scope of this game, else I would have been clamoring for one myself.

I understand the one slot for full caster thing, I had forgotten about it, but I wanted you know why I wasn't just swapping out for less than full caster.

The hedgewitch had wonderful flavor, but I didn't really like it's implementation.

What you have for their powers is basically what I was thinking with only minor deviation (such as making tasty food, never failing to have a fire going when needed, always seeming to have the tools she needs on hand, etc. I wasn't planning on illusions though, as I figured that for more arcane magic, but hey).

I even took the revitalize talent to make healing non-instant as I felt that fit the theme better.

As she is the apprentice to a wise woman, that is the core of the character. Not sure how another class would alter that at all. She'd still be a healer using potions, herbs, and what-not.

Doesn't the choice of magic and tradition matter more in this case anyways? For example, as she has to mix potions and herbs to create an effect rather than blasting vulgar spells by shouting and flailing arms around.

I don't think there is anything that wouldn't pretty much contradict the core of the character (which was why I built her out of incanter in the first place, to avoid a bunch of contradictory non-sense as incanter was the most neutral on that front).

If that makes her unsuitable, then oh well. I'd like to think though, that sticking with the right talent choices and her tradition would more than fill the theme of the game at least.

Edit; If I change that, I might as well just make a brand new character, and I lack inspiration for that at the moment.

Made some minor adjustments that I hope makes Sonya more likely to join in.

Google doesn't come up with cunning woman bloodline. Where can I find it? I don't remember seeing it in the recruitment last time around.

Hence the focus on being wise-womanish with more subtle potions and rune readings and healing, though coming back to it, I might swap one side for bard (sphere bard obviously), for the ability to handle people and crowds like a wise woman would.

I also thought certain aspects of her heritage would be very interesting twist later on adding to party drama, but that isn't the most important part of her bg if it's a problem, I can alter that.

Here I am, back again! I posted her in your other rerecruitment, including a couple unanswered questions. I'll go find those qusstions and be back later (I'll also go find the bg material from last time and drop it into the profile).

You pick one casting tradition at each level to improve. Similar to a non-gestalt wizard/cleric improving only one at each level but having access to both.

My other half is rogue, so no magic comes from there anyway.

The second tradition hasn't actually been aquired yet (cause I have only one level) hence the note about it being unaccessble, but I put it there as part of the character and what I expect to do with them as the game progresses, in this case, the tainted heritage which is there under the surface that she may have to deal with.

Here is a character for a spheres gestalt game. I'm not overly familiar with spheres yet, so I'm hoping someone might tell me if I'm missing something.

This is Interesting Character's submission. Not finished yet, but mostly there. Just need to sort through the equipment and finish her familiar. Some equipment is there already from my new character template, but I'm not likely to change much of it.

I also need to digitize the good stuff, her story, bg, looks, and the fluff of her abilities.

There is one question though, is it too much to have both the squirrel familiar and the silver fox bound creature (since it turns out, not only did Bound Creature be unable to handle the squirrel for some reason [takes several talents just to get the size], but I managed to get a familiar as well anyway)? If it is, I can drop the fox for the spell points.

I don't know anything about optimization much less that chart you linked to. I figured you'd do it yourself anyway so I got this up, but if you want me to do as well, or just me, I could, but I'm not confident I'd be very good at it.

I'm curious what anyone's thoughts on her are so far.
