Studied Target: A slayer can study an opponent he can see as a move action. The slayer then gains a +1 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks attempted against that opponent, and a +1 bonus on weapon attack and damage rolls against it. The DCs of slayer class abilities against that opponent increase by 1. A slayer can only maintain these bonuses against one opponent at a time; these bonuses remain in effect until either the opponent is dead or the slayer studies a new target.
If a slayer deals sneak attack damage to a target, he can study that target as an immediate action, allowing him to apply his studied target bonuses against that target (including to the normal weapon damage roll).
At 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th levels, the bonuses on weapon attack and damage rolls, as well as the bonus to slayer ability DCs against a studied, target increase by 1. In addition, at each such interval, the slayer is able to maintain these bonuses against an additional studied target at the same time. The slayer may discard this connection to a studied target as a free action, allowing him to study another target in its place.
At 7th level, a slayer can study an opponent as a move or swift action.
Track: A slayer adds 1/2 his level (minimum 1) to Survival skill checks made to follow tracks.

Sonja grew up in her families holdings in Oslo. She led a comparatively good life, and cannot look back on a moment of her upbringing that she remembers with hard feelings or regret.
That is, until, news returned of the fate of her father on her 11th birthday. He had been slain leading an incursion south, into the homes of the Roman Legions. She never learned of exactly how he died, but the news nearly drove her mother mad with grief. Soon after, her mother too passed away, her body succumbing to a deathly illness.
Sonja then sailed west to the islands to live with a Jarl to Ubba Lothbrok by the name of Bolvar Eriksson. She desired to serve him as a shield-maiden, and Bolvar saw to it that Sonja was well trained, teaching her how to properly use weapons, work a longboat, and live off the land if need be. He also taught her Latin, so that she could one day possibly avenge her father and let her enemies know exactly what she desired.
When the call to arms went up, Bolvar and his men all answered the call, sending 2 boats and a number of men to join in the battles and raids. Sonja was eager to be among that number, and Bolvar trusted that she could handle her own on the field of battle. And who was he to stand in her way of gaining vengeance on the Romans?
During the final battle, Sonja stayed within the thickest of the fighting, right up to the bitter end.
"Sonja!" a voice called out to her from behind.
She turned to see Bolvar breathing heavily, pulling his spear from the belly of a felled Legionnaire. He points over towards the center of the battle, "Ubba! His men are getting overwhelmed! Quickl-" his voice was cut off as an arrow buried itself deep in his chest.
"Bolvar!" Sonja cries out, beginning to move towards her Jarl. He looks at her and shakes his head as he breaks the arrow shaft in half with his hand.
She nods and turns to fight her way to Ubba's side as Bolvar had commanded. At one point she turned and looked back to the man that had helped raise her, and was unfortunate enough to watch as four Roman soldiers brutally and repeatedly stabbed the man with their blades until he fell.
Sonja gritted her teeth and turned to continue towards Ubba. But there were just too many of them...too well trained. The Roman formations refused to yield to their attacks, and as she tried in vain to get to their leader's side, she was forced to watch as Ubba was felled at the end of Roman spears.
"NO!" she half-roared, and began lashing out at every nearby Roman she could. She didn't last long, however, before a blow to the head rendered her unconscious.
She awoke to the cold feeling of iron around her wrists and ankles. Her armor, arm rings, and weapons were gone. Her clothes were nothing more than a collection of torn strips, stained with blood and dirt. Around her were the remains of Ubba's Great Army. The remains of her kin. She hung her head, but refused to cry.
Personality:
Sonja's would be best described as a "spitfire." She has a hot temper, and quick tongue. However, she is fiercely loyal to those she considers friends and family.
