Merry Christmas everyone. Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays.
The ioun stone sheds light as a torch.
Siral readies his boar spear and follows Skane and Hack.
Siral steps up beside Skane and casts a spell, lightly touching Skane's shield. "Svjetlo"
Skanes shield glows lightly like a torch.
"There is no more magic in this place. So please lead the way Countless. We shall follow."
My apologies, but I have no cure spells.
Siral will memorize the following spells for the day.
0: Light, Detect Magic, Guidance, Daze
1: Ray of Enfeeblement x 2, Icicle Dagger
Siral will follow Bjorn as he makes his way around.
"Perhaps our good friend the priest can use that wand on brother Skane?"
"Otkriti!"
Siral's eyes give off a soft glow as he scans the room looking for magical items.
Casting detect magic and scanning the room for any magical items or spells. After which if not finding any, he will begin to set up for a rest. Barring no objections, of course.
Perhaps we should take a break and rest. We've been going hard at it and we need to rest up. We could search this area and secure ourselves in here.
Siral steps forward, cackles, and asks the gods for favor for Betony.
5-foot step forward, cackle to continue fortune effects on Bjorn and Skane, Fortune hex on Betony.
Skäne “Countless” Ingvârssonn wrote: Guys... might want to retcon your above actions, Skane was dropped (-7/20 HP)
Skane succumbs to the flailing attacks of the dead...
Stabilise: 1d20-5
You can use the fortune to reroll the Stabilize. Don't need you bleeding out.
Siral takes a step forward and cackles, "Neka sreca korist podebljano!"
Siral moves a 5-foot step forward to U14.
Cackle continues the fortune on Bjorn, and then Siral casts Fortune on Skane.
Neka se bogovi osmijeh na vas moj brat. Siral hexes Bjorn and moves forward to just behind him.
Fortune Hex: pick a d20 roll for your turn and roll 2-d20's, take the higher roll.
Move forward to W13.
Siral and Ralyip will continue to follow Bjorn as he opens doors, checking each room as they go.
Cast Detect Magic and search each room as they go.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
"We will do a quick search of each room after you deam them safe."
Siral and Ralyip do a cursory search of the rotten room.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Maybe someone else should? We are not the best at this.
"We shall finish exploring this place. We will meet up with Krill when we get back to Holmstead."
Siral follows Bjorn out the door. "Goli muškarac! Where we go?"
"Bogovi!" Siral holds up the ring, looks grimly at Ralyip. "We believe this ring could be dangerous to us. It is but half of a pair used to keep track of prisoners. The being with the other half could possibly use it to track us down. We should leave it behind so that the owner of the other half will not come after us. Or we should find some clever way to trick the owner of the other half so that we might gain it and any other treasure they may have." Siral pauses to think for a moment. "Perhaps we could use it to lure the owner of the other half, so that we may capture them and find out where this Rhianna is?"
Siral looks to the group, "What should we do?"
"It appears we have found something of value. This ring zrači božanske moći. We will attempt to inspect it closer if you will allow us." Silar takes the ring from Hack, squats down and holds the ring so that both he and Ralyip can inspect it. Still concentrating on the spell he had cast and on the ring, Silar attempts to discern its properties.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
Good to have you back Bjorn
Siral casts Detect Magic and then enters the room looking about, concentrating, trying to find any magic that may be about. He glances at the newcomer that appears to be known, "Čini se da imamo novu brata Ralyip. Moramo ga dočekati." Ralyip cautiously creeps closer to the newcomer and sniffs him. "We are Siral and Ralyip, it is a pleasure to meet you." Siral offers his hands in greeting, holding his arms straight out towards the big man, palms up and empty.
Looking to the rest of the party, "Who's this Rhianna everyone seems to be talking about?"
We may be able to help. Siral and Ralyip move forward to the unmoving man. Siral casts Stabilize on the man without even checking to see if he needs it. Then they turn and offer their waterskin to the second man.
We may be able to get you out of here. The route we took to come in should be clear.
"Let us try the other doors first Skane. I believe the stacked furniture is to keep whatever is in there, in there."
Siral points to the door to the east. "How about this one instead?"
Siral attempts to use the wand two more times before the group begins anew.
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Does anybody still need healing before we move forward?
With a hesitation in his voice Siral addresses the group, Does anyone know anything about an eight legged animal with a tail? I think there may be something of that nature to the west.
Then pointing toward the south, My guess is that they didn't want to deal with the serpent there so they blocked it up.
We can try to follow a trail if the group chooses one. We are decent at following trails. Aren't we Ralyip? Siral squats down and caresses Ralyip, smoothing his hair across his back and itching beneath his chin.
We might know something about the tracks. Siral and Ralyip look over the tracks, sniffing them.
Survival 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Knowledge (Nature) 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
Siral attempts one more time to heal wounds with the wand. Tapping Hack on the shoulder as he waves the wand.
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Ha, ha. Good to have you back with us friend. Siral offers his hand to Skane, Perhaps we can coax a little more out of this wand?
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
UGH! Let us try that one more time. Siral looks at Ralyip, You got a better way? Ralyip tilts his head and barks. Sounds good. I'll try it. Siral takes the wand, swooshes it over Skane in an exagerated flourish, Vindeca!
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Siral takes the wand from Wesh, looks it over carefully from end to end, and then with a flourish casts from it. izliječiti
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Did you have a wand? Perhaps I could make better use of it?
I will be on vacation with no internet for the next week. If someone would be so kind as to bot me, I would appreciate it.
I'll be back Saturday, August 4th.
I know that I'm after Betony, but the bandits need to go yet and I probably would have acted different last time. So I will patiently wait for the DM to go. Hope it's soon though. I would like to get these bandits done.
Siral cackles again and casts Fortune on Betony.
Siral cackles to maintain the fortune on Hack, then casts stabilize on Skane. "That should hold him for a little while, till you get the chance to get to him Wesh. Whack at 'em folks, now that their leader is down, they should be easy pickin's!"
Siral 5' steps up, cackles, and hexes the Bandit Leader with misfortune.
FYI, out for the weekend, back Monday.
I will be patiently waiting. I know you folks have waited for me in the past. I will gladly return the favor.
Good luck in settling down to the new digs.
Assuming we are continuing on.
Siral takes a 5' step forward cackling and casts Ill Omen on the Bandit Leader.
Cackle keeps the fortune up on Hack, and the Ill Omen has no save.
Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Bandits!
I've been running Kingmaker for two groups. Too bad you couldn't run it. It's been a lot of fun. The best part of the campaign that I've enjoyed is that it allows a GM to develop sub-plots and side quests that may have nothing to do with the campaign other than fleshing out characters.
Oh, and I highly recommend anyone thinking of running it, to grab that paper. It's pretty handy.
"Siral" posting for GM Shieldknight
Siral follows the group as the forge ahead.
Siral readies his boar spear and calls Ralyip to his side.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Survival: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Following the group, Siral tries to be as quiet as possible.
Stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Before leaving the frogs, Siral casts Detect Magic to see if the frogs have swallowed anything.
When we arrive at the tower, Siral will again cast Detect Magic in hopes of catching anyone using magic for disguise or camouflage.
Siral cackles again hoping that Hack may be blessed with good fortune, and hexes Wesh with a fortune hex.
Spremi Wesh naš prijatelj, i dati mu dobru sreću.
I'm back, and it looks like you folks have taken it to them.
Round 4
Siral cackles again, keeping Hack fortuned for the time being. Siral attempts to remember anything he can about these large frogs. Knowledge (Nature): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16 Then he casts Ill Omen.
Ill Omen: No Save, must roll two d20's on next d20 roll and take the worse roll. Should have done that before the Misfortune hex.
Siral cackles and curses the large frog, "Duhovi daju nam našu blagodat, proklinju ovu bijednom stvorenje."
Siral's cackle allows Hack's fortune hex to continue for another round, and he casts his misfortune hex on the large frog again thanks to his Accursed Hex feat. Will DC 15.
I will be away from a computer until Monday, DM Randall, feel free to assign someone to my character until then.
Siral grumbles to himself, Glupa žaba, pokušajmo nešto drugačije ovaj put.
Siral yells at the northman, Hack, try it again. Neka duhovi vas voditi.
Siral hexes Hack with a fortune hex. On Hack's turn, he chooses a d20 roll and rolls two d20's and takes the better roll.
My apologies folks, was out of state for training and was only allowed to take one computer. And work does not allow for messageboards. I will try to remember to let you know next time I'm out for more than a day.
Siral steps forward drawing his boar spear and curses the large frog. "Пусть духи проклинать вас."
move forward to D3 with Ralyip right behind at D2, drawing boar spear during the move, cast Misfortune Hex on the large frog, WILL DC 15 (If creature fails, rolls 2 d20's until my next turn.)
We are with you. We don't believe Kieran will be joining us at this moment. Siral and Ralyip follow Hack and Krill out the building and down the road back to the others.
We're not sure what the others would say to the offer. Typically we each to an even share of the loot. But we could probably find you a big axe and armor. Siral contemplates it for a moment, waiting to see what happens with Hack.
If you want, our companions are waiting for us outside of town. You can join us for a meet-n-greet if you'd like.
Perhaps you would like to join us in our search for the man. We could use a strong arm such as yours. If you don't mind a little eccentricity.
Siral offers his hand to Kieran.
"I believe his name was Lucien, Hack. And yes the meat is for my friend. But we would not eat it until we had left. If that's okay?"
Siral kneels down and pets Ralyip.
