Fortune Hex: pick a d20 roll for your turn and roll 2-d20's, take the higher roll.
Move forward to W13.

Shoanti:
Neka se bogovi osmijeh na vas moj brat.=May the gods smile upon you my brother.

Cannot see the maps here at work even through a proxy server but, I will just attack the creature that charged me.

Bite attack (B,P and S) 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Damage1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Woot! Looks like all three hit. I need Rend!

Male Human Barbarian (Outlander- Zealot of Saxwyn)(CN)/3, HP 35/39: , AC: 16 , Saves: STR +6 CON +6, Initiative: +2, Passive Perception: 14: Rage Remaining 1/2

You have been Hexed Bjorn. You can roll a second D20 for one of those attacks and take the higher. I am assuming, of course, that you naturally have two claw attacks. :-)

I was planning to save it for a saving throw or stabilization check this round. Yes, I have two claw attacks.

Male Human Barbarian (Outlander- Zealot of Saxwyn)(CN)/3, HP 35/39: , AC: 16 , Saves: STR +6 CON +6, Initiative: +2, Passive Perception: 14: Rage Remaining 1/2

Gotcha, just thought you may have been ninjaed with the post of the Hex.

Female Gnome Cavalier 2; Knight of the Shield

The Brambleknight rattles past Bjorn (to Y-14 assuming Bjorn shredded his opponent, so no AoO. If it is still standing, she will instead attack that zombie).

She aims her lance at the lone zombie (AA-13) .

Lance attack (not a charge) -> 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Lance damage (not a charge) -> 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Chance:
opportunity!: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
damage!: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Hack rushes past Bjorn and fails to dodge the flailing corpse's arm as it smacks him with probable bruise in the morning. Hack pays it no heed as he cuts one of the corpses down with rage fueled strike.
Hack gets 6 points of slammin' and he brings his target down.

Siral gives Bjorn a Shoanti blessing, though the Northman savagely rips apart the corpse before him, spitting a gob of decomposing flesh as a finale.Outdone the zombie at his own game..

Betony, Y-14 is 60 feet away which would mean you are out of range. Any new moves?

Moves for Skane and Wesh in round 2. Betony for round 1.

Male Human Barbarian (Outlander- Zealot of Saxwyn)(CN)/3, HP 35/39: , AC: 16 , Saves: STR +6 CON +6, Initiative: +2, Passive Perception: 14: Rage Remaining 1/2

DM Randall:
I thought that I could circle from the top side to getinto position to attack without rushing by Bjorn and incurring an AoO? It could be I was just reading the map wrong to though? let me know, and I will take the damage, if there was not another way to Skane.

Hack:
I am treating the pillar as an obstruction and either way via Bjorn or Wesh would attract an AoO from x13 or x16.

Male Human Barbarian (Outlander- Zealot of Saxwyn)(CN)/3, HP 35/39: , AC: 16 , Saves: STR +6 CON +6, Initiative: +2, Passive Perception: 14: Rage Remaining 1/2

DM Randall:
Understood. Thanks for clarifying.

Female Gnome Cavalier 2; Knight of the Shield

[ooc}Are those 10' squares? Or are the pillar squares unpassable? Well, in any evant, if Bjorn dropped his foe, Betony can move through his square to y-14 (6 squares) leaving a charge lane for Bjorn and still attacking the zombie in AA-13 with reach.[/ooc]

Sorry Betony, it's 5ft per square. The program I'm using had wrong settings and I mistakenly took it as is.

Thistledown carries Betony forward within reach of walking corpse, before she skewers it with Nettle. She holds it at bay as her target claws at her from out of reach.

Round 2
Actives - Light on Wesh and Bjorn, Rage on Hack, Fortune on Bjorn

Wesh and Skane's turn.

Round 2

AC:19 HP: 10/20 CONDITIONS: -

Skane spits a glob of blood at the walking dead before him and winces as his cracked ribs shift;

"Tími til deyja aftur þú kuldi lausaleiksbarn!"

Skald:

Time to die again you cold basterds!

Ignoring the pain the Northman brutally chops at a zombie W17;

MW Battle Axe: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Wesh reaches out and tries to bless skane with a bit of luck can reroll 1d20 roll next round

Skane finishes the leftover corpse, cleaving the body into two. As barely as his axe finishes its follow-through, another lumbering dead staggers to fill the fallen's place.

Wesh touches Skane with a hope of luck.

The slow moving corpses approach and converge at the opening where Skane plugs the entrance, appearing from the shadow shrouded room beyond. Their stiff movements however gives the party some respite.

Betony finds her lance shoved away as her recently pierced cadaver closes in on her.

Each swings their stiff board like arms, flailing as hard as a club. Betony fends the predictable swing off, whilst Skane's armor does little to absorb the pounding he receives.

GM:

attacks vs Skane x 3: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 211d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 201d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
attacks vs Betony: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
damage vs Skane x 2: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 71d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Skane receives 17 damage.

Zombie positions at Z-14, X-16, X-17, W-17.

Bjorn, Betony, Siral and Hack next.

Shadow Lodge

Siral takes a step forward and cackles, "Neka sreca korist podebljano!"

Siral moves a 5-foot step forward to U14.
Cackle continues the fortune on Bjorn, and then Siral casts Fortune on Skane.

Shoanti:
= May fortune favor the bold!

Bjorn is using fortune for his attack roll this round

Bjorn circles around behind one of the foul creatures in the next room lashing out as he advances.

You can use the fortune to reroll the Stabilize. Don't need you bleeding out.

Stoopid Skane... =P

I won't change Bjorn's action from attacking. Bjorn would instead move in a straight line to occupy Skane's square and attack the one that Skane attacked. I believe Bjorn misses without the flank as his total to hit is now 11.

Stoopid Bjorn should have cast Magic Fang...

Round 2 - Resolving

Skane finds himself pummeled to the ground under the flaying arms of the stiff corpses. He lies, body beaten and battered.

Siral chants an arcane Shoanti blessing, bestowing Skane the gift of luck as the shield bearer begins to fight to cling on to life.

Thistledown gets to snap at the dead corpse before he is beckoned to keep his distance as Betony continues to jab with nettle, which blows a hole in its head. Whatever energies animating the corpse dissipates and it slides non moving to the floor. corpse knocked out.
bite damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Hack looks to assist Betony but she deals with her cadaver handily. Instead Hack's greataxe finds another target and the powerful stroke hews the corpse in two. X-16 cut down.

Bjorn's sharp claws rake the air as he gesticulates his feral half-bear state.

Wesh is up.

Baws... Stoopid Skane indeed! How unfortunate... Thanks for the heads up Siral...

male Human (Varisian) cleric 2

Wesh will take a five foot step to V16 and aid another Bjorn. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

Bjorn stands over the prone body of Skane as Wesh moves to his rear and distracts the remaining corpses.

With only the naked hairy man within range, the two cadavers thrash and swing threateningly, each stroke leaden and deadly.

With only a coat of hair to protect him, Bjorn dodges the first blow only to throw himself in the path of a second, that cracks a rib in the process. Bjorn takes 10 damage.

GM:

Bjorn, Betony, Siral and Hack up.

Bjorn was at zero hit points and made a strenuous action by attacking. He is now unconscious and dying.

Female Gnome Cavalier 2; Knight of the Shield

Seeing Skane and then Bjorn go down, Bettony drops her lance as she digs her heals in to get Thistledown to charge to help her friends. She pulls her axe free in tine to deliver a blow.

@Bjorn, missed your DR1/cold iron again, sorry.

Bjorn manages to rake the corpse before him and collapses from the beating taken. Betony finishes off with a signature charge and slash, cleaving the stiff down.

Hack steps in with a heavy greataxe blow that sunders the final corpse down to the ground.

Combat over.

The unconscious bodies of the two shield brother lay upon the other with Skane's shield between them.

Wesh does a quick shine with his shield, revealing most of the room's interior with no obvious exits.

Perhaps we should take a break and rest. We've been going hard at it and we need to rest up. We could search this area and secure ourselves in here.

Skane may regret that desire once he regains consciousness and finds out he was covered in naked Bjorn.

Cool - did a look to clarify that before Wesh did so for me :) All good... then again Bjorn's got a point...

Skane's eyes flicker as the Valkyrie spare him once again;

"Perhaps our good friend the priest can use that wand on brother Skane?"

"Otkriti!"

Siral's eyes give off a soft glow as he scans the room looking for magical items.

Casting detect magic and scanning the room for any magical items or spells. After which if not finding any, he will begin to set up for a rest. Barring no objections, of course.

Siral's glowing eyes reveal little of magic within the room. Though room with the dead ogre seems like a good spot to rest if need be.

Skane's unconscious form however needs to be dragged there.

Just finished an important exam. More time for GMing now.
