The next day, after having spent some time with the crew, the crazy bird tried to share some of their tales.

Perform, oratory, infamy: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17

Nice job Rosanne! I thought Silent Rob was going to have to aid with a dirty limerick.

”Handy too,” the parrot echoed.

Arrr Comrades, Silent Rob added as he flew from Maurine’s shoulder and landed on her raised mug. His beak quickly dipped into her mug stealing a sip of her grog. Just as quickly the bird jumped from his new perch to the relative safety of the table.

”Shagging right” the parrot enthusiastically agreed.

Howdie captain” the parrot squawked.

Ship in the harbor! Ship in the harbor, the parrot, Silent Rob, squawked trying to get Maurine’s attention.

@Twixt - AoE is definitely challenging in book 1. Did you nearly die in the animal menagerie area (eg owlbear etc)?

Yep. That was the place where the mighty heroes met their end.

Have fun with the game all!

That's too bad. I often find that P2e takes a bit of a mind shift on the players and especially the GM before people get good with it. I'd suggest giving it a second chance once a few people have experience with the rules.

And AoE definitely has a couple parts early on where they expect a lot from the players. It's hard to write first level adventures in any system that feel challenging without risking the characters.

Yeah it was a learning experience for sure. 2e seems like a well thought out system and I like how they cleaned up the action economy as well as limiting the number of bonus that stack.

Interested. Here Twixt a gnome rogue.

I don’t have much 2e experience just played the first part of Agents of Edgewatch when a tpk encouraged my in person group to hastily jump back to 1e.

This waifish, whimsical-looking gnome has a cream colored complexion and vibrant magenta colored hair.

Edit: Also, you said this would be a fast paced game. I can commit to posting twice per day. If you are looking for more than that I am probably not a good fit. Good luck!
