Any word on whether Androids will make an appearance in this book? I certainly hope Clockwork Automatons are not taking their place entirely in Golarion. I think there's certainly room for both aesthetics to have their place, and there's plenty of room to differentiate, at least in my eyes.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Drakeslayers! A movie from the 280s about a group of unlikely allies coming together to take out a Red Dragon CEO! Very gritty and dark but also kinda cheesy.

Ey! I'm a pretty queer trans gal, and I'm way interested in this!

Dotting for interest. I can think of tons of concepts with this setting. TV Evangelist Bard or Mesmerist, maybe?

Hey, I'm interested. Is it okay if I send an email request too?

I have not actually played an Adventure Path yet, but I know about a lot of them, and all of them seem equally interesting. To me, Kingmaker would be the funniest. Just the idea of those little guys finally getting to live up to their dragon heritage, becoming powerful despots!

Oh. Whoops, I missed that somehow. Sorry.

Is this still going to happen?

I'd be willing to do any AP with Kobolds. Kobolds are amazing little buggers.

I allow my players to use any race/class/archetype combo that's on d20pfsrd, regardless of whether it's balanced or not.

If you want help making a sheet, may I humbly recommend my guide?

Well, thanks, but I already got mine done! I'll be sure to use your sheet next time, instead of copying someone else's XD

She's quite... Unskilled at talking to people. I like to justify having Charisma as a dump-stat because she sacrificed her people skills in exchange for pursuit of knowledge and fighting skills. You know that kid in high school, the one who always sits alone and never talks to anyone, always studying? That's basically her.

I did once play a character with a Charisma of 5 who WAS incredibly ugly as a result of it, though.

Well, here she is:

(Btw, I hope it doesn't matter that I copy-pasted the basic sheet from someone else)

Looks and personality:

She has short-cut black hair, a military style. Her eyes are a hazel color, and often bloodshot from lack of sleep. She is studious, quiet, and spends most of her time training, either with her Soul-blade or gathering more knowledge. She firmly believes that the path to enlightenment is enriching both the mind as well as the body, and not just one in exchange for the other. She often replies to attempts at conversation with one-word answers, then resumes her studies. She is also arrogant, believing herself better than both those who focus on physical prowess alone, as well as those who focus on mental prowess alone. But, at heart, she is a good person, who respects authority and cares about others.

Background:

She grew up in a very diverse town, full of everything from Dwarves to Catfolk. Unfortunately, there were not very many elves there, and so, she was bullied. She also had little to no friends, due to how much slower she grew up compared to the other, shorter lived races. Due to the bullying of her peers throughout her life, she decided to become better than them, both in body and mind. She trained to become stronger and smarter than all the rest of her classmates, and mostly succeeded. But the bullying never stopped. She never retaliated, though, as it was not in her nature. After she graduated, she traveled across the land, and eventually discovered her latent psychic ability for creating a Soulblade.

I'm working on an Elf Gifted Blade Soulknife. Would that work for this campaign?

Are there still spots available for this one?

Thanks for the advice, everyone!

Sorry if I was wasting everyone's time with this...

It turns out I'm only really half-GMing, but this will be helpful for when I become the actual GM. I'm designing the encounters and the dungeons, while the other GM is running it.

How are they a CR 3? Sorry if that's a dumb question, but I thought that for a party with 6 members it was the Average Party Level plus one.

Also, in case anyone was wondering the context of this, I am in high school, and I started an RPG club. And so I am co-GMing with another student. And yes, most of us already are friends/know each other from another, similar club that we do for Tabletop gaming.

I have a fighter, a rogue, a cleric, a ranger (Archery focused), a monk, and a barbarian. And yes, I know that's a lot of melee classes. I didn't want to limit the PC's options when they chose their characters.

The size of the party, including my character, is 6. Is that too much?

I apologize for my stupid newbishness, everyone.

And I'm pretty sure I wouldn't metagame with my character... I intentionally made her stupid for that very reason, so that she won't figure things out before the party does.

Well, I forgot to mention this, but I'm sort of co-GMing with someone else... In that case would it be alright to have my own PC? Because if not, I'll just get rid of my character.

I have someone who is experienced with RPGs helping me with the story and such.

And about the Willsaves and Perception thing, I kinda figured that.

And I've already done one session, with the adventure included in the Beginner Box, and everyone had a lot of fun. Is it a bad idea for me to have a character in the game too?

*looks in the PRD* Wow, I'm DEFINITELY gonna be staying away from that stuff.

I don't even know what Mythic is XD

Thanks for all of the advice, guys! :)

I will definitely be sure to do that.

And I was considering having a rival party of adventurers, that they would sometimes come into conflict with and possibly fight at times. Does that seem like a good idea?

Ah. Well, the rogue of the group rolled really well for all of his stats, so I think at least at first he won't be too weak.

And I won't have to worry about Summoners quite yet, as I'm only using the Core Rulebook right now.

What exactly do I have to be careful about with Summoners and Rogues?

Anyone have some basic advice for a GM who is new at Pathfinder? I have the basics of the rules pretty much down, but some advice would be appreciated please.
