”No, we're not the Deskwardens. They are, well... at their desks. You may want to consider your next career choice with another company, just my advise. No, we're the Pathfinders. You sods must be the Maplosers.” Sigias motions for them to stand, then pulls out the curing wand, ”Well, up on your feet, there's more walking to do. You can relax - no lashings involved. Is anyone hurt? -other than that guy in the pit.”

"Talking to goblins is like a searing needle in your ear while getting punched in the head. Talking to kobolds is minus the punches." Sigias pads over to the very dead ones. "I'm alright without a chase. Maybe these others have some clue." Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16

"Lemme catch a skeg at those scrolls" Sigias takes them from Gaius, sniffs it as if testing perfume, feels out the quality of the parchment used, and reads it aloud. UMD lesser restoration: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23 1st scroll

Sigias moves up next to Gaius as he is inspecting the bookshelf. There appears to be an alcove to the left, he takes a few steps away and peers in with his dark vision, wand at the ready. "There's a small inset over here." Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

@GM: I'm a little confused by the map. Agree with Agy, the original art is weird. Are the colored squares exactly the size and location of the pits/traps? If it only 10' and requires a simple jump check, Sigias will just leap across, otherwise lmk. running jump 10': 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

Sigias rubbernecks at the far side, judging the danger. Knowledge (dungeoneering): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 And sees nothing revealing. "Well can't stand around all night looking at wall snot." His uncorks an alkali flask and waves a Mage Hand over to the other side then drops it into the ooze, waiting to see any effects.

"Come on Abram keep climbing - some bandages waiting for you up top." Sigias readies a healing wand. How many HP is Abram down?

”Well done cutters - well done”, Sigias applauds, ”Seems I'm traveling with the right lot. Especially Biggie here", he points at Abram. "Hang on before you go fella, better chug down the rest of these potions - you took some scratches from those vermin." Sigias nods at the three potions. He rummages two thunderstones and two alchem vials out of the pile and pockets them.

Sigias goes through his usual menu selection of protective spells, then keeps a wand of Magic Missiles palmed in his off hand. He follows in behind Agalych. While the others examine the walls, he casts Detect Magic, concentrating on the path ahead of Abram. [Darkvision 60', Mage Armor, Shield, Detect Magic rd 1]

Sigias looks flatly at the troll as it literally regurgitates information which somehow took four hours to come up with a stupid answer. He isn't falling for the sniffling intestines act, knowing well that she'll be back as new in a few hours and he'll be out a handful of gold. "So you're saying the dark of this path is that it's deep, dangerous, and cutters get lost there. Yes, insightful. Your reputation precedes you." Sigias lifts his frock and heads out the door, "I'll be outside, waiting to get bobbed." He says to Albert before exiting, "Listen Gam, you're the high-up of this cadre, make a call." Sigias will follow Albert's lead.

Seeing the lengthy list almost makes Sigias want to head back to Absalom. ”We don't need to ask around-”, Sigias points at the Sparklegrim Passage,”-See? It already says what is going on around those parts. We can debate it 'til the Spire stops spinning or we can check one out.” He jabs a sharp finger at a line that catches his attention. Then asks Talbren, "Where's Burrower’s Delve - let's just take a charm and go there first now."

”Yes, slaves, from Nidal, coming to the Freemen, deep on the HalfLight Path, carrying charms, lost. ”, Sigias goes over the pertinents again, ”You mean more details by a better estimation of where they might be?”. These sagely trolls are about as sagely as my spice cabinet. "Or perhaps you mean more... details", Sigias loosens his coin pouch.
