Mentioning this now in case this happens while I'm asleep or what not. I'm picking the extra move speed from BoF and moving behind Ka! If Ka! made his reflex save, then I'm casting resist energy (cold) on him. If he failed his reflex save, then I'm converting my pilfering hand into cure moderate wounds and healing him. I'll have the roleplay bit up when I know what I'm doing.

Per Ka’s post, he moved forward in Round 1 and got zapped. Torvald called him back to safety in Round 2.

Shiradaz posts next, saying he moves up with the others and waits to be dim doored (Round 1). In Round 2, Shiradaz gets transported, tries the door (move) and channels (standard) from the other side! *cue spooky music*

Channelling is a burst effect. Ka presently has total cover from Shiradaz, so per the rules on p214 of the Core Rulebook, Shiradaz’s channelling only affects himself (if he desires), Torvald and Calistan.

Agreed with this. I couldn't open the door, so no getting people in the main room.

Shiradaz strides into the room, watching Charvion, waiting.

He's threatening to turn us into animals, so I'm going to guess that he's some kind of spellcaster of some sort. Time to find out if he resists fire.

Shiradaz readies to empowered fireball him if he casts a spell. I'll avoid my allies, but if I'm forced to target myself to avoid everyone else because of his movement, then I will.

Huh. I could've sworn I checked on this thread yesterday... Wow... Anyway, not as if I need to do much, now that the swarms are gone we've just got a bunch of goblins...

I think that there's a wall that's blocking me from going there directly, but the air walk means that I'm going at full speed, so I should be able to make it.

Shiradaz walks slightly above the ground thanks to his air walk, ignoring the grease. When he sees the swarms, he comments "Oh, just some pests I see. Allow me to exterminate them." He then casts fireball.

The orange circle is the center of the fireball - the outline should be where it reaches to.

Oh. my. god. Stop. using. wand. charges. I have channels that are only good for out of combat healing. At least use one of those first, then you can top yourselves off. I know how excited y'all are to use wand charges, but channeling is free and it's a resource that doesn't really matter.

Straight ahead should get Pink, White and Orange. This provokes, but Orange may have already taken it against Calistan.

This is now the most I have used burning hands over the course of a scenario - if goblins really want to keep bunching up in front of me, I'll take it.

Also, I think I'm updated from my trip - did you guys count on me using any of my resources while I was away? (It's fine if you did, I just want to make sure I mark it off properly.)

Thanks Calistan! I swear it was a good idea for me to run in - with a +9 bonus the goblins are basically at a coin flip to hit me, yet our illustrious gm keeps winning all the coin flips. :p I should probably invest in AC after this game though, although honestly most of what I do is longer range.

Shiradaz sees the goblin stabbing right towards a weak point in his armor and closes his eyes to brace for the impact. A moment later, he feels a scratch on his armor slightly above the spot. He opens his eyes. "Huh. Must've slipped. ... Eh, goblins are stupid." And with that he quickly steps back and continues his pattern of trying to immolate slightly-willing goblins.

Heads up guys - I will be at Origins this weekend. I'll be checking in as much as I can, but most of my effort will probably go towards the PbP Eyes of the Ten that I'm running.

No action during the three rounds to buff since I only had 1 damage on me – I don’t really have much in the way of buffs. I usually prep reactive spells and blasts.

Shiradaz looks at the goblins that have grouped up next to him. “You apparently haven’t learned from your friends. Or you have learned well and just want to die.” Shiradaz backs up and blasts them.

Thanks to terrain, I may or may not be able to 5-foot step back because of the terrain, so either I 5-ft step or spend a move action moving back and provoke. Then I cast intensified burning hands.

Yes, sorry. Fire Bolt is a 30ft. RTA – it’s the 1st level domain power of the Fire domain.

Shiradaz braced for the impact – after all, he knew they would rush the source of fire quickly. These are goblins after all. He wasn’t expecting that many of them to hit him though, but he also was expecting them to hurt quite a bit more than that. “Well, if the goblins only want to plink me to death, then no reason to deviate from the plan. I see three that are nicely bunched up.”

“My apologizes for mistaking your name Total A$#+!$~. However the fire doesn’t come from inside me, but as a gift from Feronia herself! Perhaps you would like a demonstration!”

Shiradaz moves three squares to the right. This provokes from Yellow and Orange (although Orange has a bow out currently). Then he will cast an intensified burning hands down and to the left, which should catch Yellow, Orange and Pink. This provokes again from Orange if he is capable of taking opportunity attacks with a bow out and has Combat Reflexes.

Shiradaz follows behind the rest of the group as well, looking for seats. His weapon may be stowed but his shield is out - not because of any potential trouble, but because his shield has an intricate carving of a bonfire underneath a field of open sky dotted with lots of stars. On the bottom of the picture, the word "FERONIA" is written in intricate script. Once the group has found their seats, he starts taking out a bottle and spreading liquid on the shield where the campfire is pictured.

When he hears Torvald call out, Shiradaz's head pokes up. "Mmmmm. Shrimp noodles."

Shiradaz nods on hearing the mysterious stranger's request. "Well, that was overly dramatic for no reason whatsoever. Easy enough request."

Shiradaz looks at Eadie with a bit of confusion, then his face lit up as he understood what Eadie said.

An undine walks up to the group gathered around the gnome. "Hello all, my name is Shiradaz Gaunt, preacher of Feronia,. Let the power of Feronia be upon you!" he adds while passing out wooden holy symbols of Feronia. Each of the symbols has a little note on the back that says "Cast spark here" with an arrow pointing towards one spot on the back of the symbols.

I have 4 channel positives at 4d6 each. I do not have selective channel however, so they're generally not good during combat.

I also prep my non-burning hands, non-fireball spells generally as condition removal with a smattering of non-fire damage. So I have some healing, but wouldn't be a primary healer. I honestly think we'll be fine.
