Since the Wizards who live by the Sea are saying they WANT to use AI art and even AI SPEAKERS to DM for us instead of HUMAN GMs ... I much prefer to deal with a company that wants to pay PEOPLE to work for them!!! Thanx for the stand Paizo.

Meh... a few dollars this time will not kill me (Especially since I am a PAID GM Anyway) ... Knowing the pricing structure going forward I think I can plan ... I was surprised the first ones were so CHEAP frankly compared to the work ... 19.99 is a fair price and I need the PDF and Hard Copy anyway to provide the level of Experience my players expect for the money they pay me... The work you guys put into this is GREAT already did a quick walkthrough and VERY happy.

So ... alot of this talk has been about high level and home games... there is an actual AP out were 3rd level characters who have basically invested ALL thier loot to get a +1 weapon for thier two Martial characters (no backup weapons yet because even 1gp is scarce) and there are two creatures in a room that can basically DESTROY A WEAPON in one action... (3 broken weapons in the first round of combat) now to be fair there were a lot of weapons we had collected prior to the fight (10 tridents)... and the barbarian pick fighter easily switched... (albeit with a huge reduction in damage output) the twin feinting rogue (thief racket) was pretty hard up... (we survived the fight and the last two encounters using trident and improvised clubs... no big deal just increased the challenge...now... when the level was finished we went back to town sold all the loot and leveled up... the total value of sold loot was 208 gp (52 per party member)... putting us at about 96 gp per party member total treasure since the start of the module about avg for 4th level characters... the barbarian spent 4.5 g
p to buy a new pick and transfer the rune and the rogue did the same to buy two weapons and transfer the rune... if our GM had said we need to spend 35 gp each to buy 3 new items. The rogue essentially would have played that entire level with NO TREASURE and a net 18gp loss... this did not seem fair...
Part of the thought was the fairness issue... the other part was that the critter that broke the item just used his hands (no acid just tore the weapon apart so the rune should still be intact on the weapon)

BtW ... this same critter also appeared at 2nd level luckily we had no runes yet...

1) We want one-handed weapon characters who keep a free hand to be able to use their worn tools, and that includes Battle Medicine. Last night, Jared Thaler cleverly noticed the same thing that the design team had noticed just a bit earlier ourselves that this applies to more than just healer's tools so was a bit bigger than it seemed.
Credit should go to GM The Gnome for bringing it to my attention.

A cave gnome pops its head out of his cave and looks around... oh no attention ...

Um ... thanx don't everyone go blaming me now LOL... cast invisibility and RUNS...

BtW... a small side issue... on ALL the errata... you used to mark the LATEST errata in red to make it clear what was an actual change and what was actually changed 7 months ago... please restore that protocol it is VERY helpfull

As an Eoxian Necrografter I would hope Abadar Corp ignore these Vile Slanders and continue to price things as they see fit. We of course will still continue to offer our wonderfully suited necrographs at our discounted rates... if you would like to step into my parlor I can show you some slightly used Lungs perhaps?

go wrestle with a full grown adult and then go do the same with a child...after you explain to the cops what you were doing and spend a little time in jail and then report to your community where you now live, think back to those two instances and tell me that size didn't matter in the grapple
Do the adult and child have the same strength, as verified through a comprehensive weight lifting challenge, and similar skill level, as demonstrated by equivalent W/L records against similar foes? Because unless they do this analogy is busted.
so you're saying that if we took a person, cloned them, but miniaturized them (but somehow kept the same level of strength), they'd be equally as dangerous in a grapple? Weight class is a thing for a reason.
I'm saying that by rules definition such people in Starfinder who have "similar skill level, as demonstrated by equivalent W/L records against similar foes" are equally dangerous as grapplers.
that's not the argument though. The argument is about the analogy and whether or not its busted. You chose to enter in further criteria into an analogy for whatever reasons, to which I gave you that scenario and asked a question regarding it. Starfinder's rules don't enter into it. Only whether a smaller version of a grappler is just as dangerous as their full sized self. I think it's pretty evident that no, they would not be. They might have the skill, and somehow be just as strong, but they lose in weight and reach, which are big components to physical combat, especially when we're talking in such a degree as the size of creatures in Pathfinder or Starfinder. Not a couple of inches and 10 or so pounds, but 3+ feet and 100+ pounds.

So... ever try to cook/type/wrap a present whilst a cat is in the room and wants to wrestle/play?...or a 3 rear old? Size is not gonna stop you from being hampered... true they will be shrugged off... but you WILL be distracted (using in game mechanics this is expressed in various mods to AC... and attacks

Gesture Expertise and. Expert Scholar (Traits) combined with Fox Shape (Kitsune) so my Oracle/paladin can stay PERMANENTLY as a Fox and just use supernatural abilities and still TALK to the party

one of my most famous and enjoyable characters (the one I post under) Shea Hoarfoot... a str 6 halfling raised by barbarian orcs... started as a leperous barbarian ... there was a plan... see she was the dual cursed Bone ORACLE of the neutral goddess of death Pharasma... this manifested on her 2nd level... by level 3 she was 2 levels of barbarian and 3 of oracle. she now had spirit flying around her when she raged... level 4 was back to oracle... by the way she had a wisdom of 10 level 5 was a level of cleric (being neutral she burst for NEGATIVE energy) does someone see the pattern here... Death Touch... Bleeding... Negative energy Spirits... by now she was a VERY powerful highly charismatic half blind Leper was amazing to role play her. to make a long story short by the time she was retired at level 11+ (awaiting next playing of eyes of the ten in our area) she was one of the most famous Characters ever to be played in the Hampton Roads Area... Her younger brother is now my main character... a first level wizard may have a path the person wants to explore similarly...
I guess what I am saying is... FIND OUT why the person wants to play that character... what is his character motivation... it sounds like there was something OUTSIDE of the game that was really at stake for 5 other players to walk out... if it sounds more like an ongoing dispute and an attempt to tick people off then boot the player otherwise let him play... he most likely will die in first encounter but he could be a reasonable assister and at very least absorb a hit or two keeping someone else alive.
