Yes, I fear that the Andorans don't see the long view. Too many of their freed slaves are unready for the wide world. No skills except labor, or other, specialized skills. I will confess to having bought my own herald as part of a cover, it is when I earned my commission into the Knights, but I don't know how well she'd do outside of my protection. Still, some people... just shouldn't be trusted to own people.
