Godfrey's shadow follows after the group, but with a much more direct path... through the wall. As it slides out of the far side, it takes a swing with its incorporeal blade at the earth elemental's exposed side.

Glides out from being... well in Sir Godfrey's shadow and floats through to the floor to rise up behind the Blue Duergar. It swings a shadowy reflection of Godfrey's own noble weapon, trying to cut through the hairy enemy's heart.

The shadow takes advantage of Dhiara's distracting rabbit punch to try and carve another shadowy trail through the red draped creature's exposed back, fulfilling the wishes of her taunt. One should be careful what they ask for.

The shadow will pursue the red draped and fleeing div, but will likely spend its time tracking it down enough that it can't spare a moment to actually strike at it.

The shadow doesn't really hiss back against the red draped creature. It doesn't really do much of anything besides stare... and of course swing its shadowy weapon once again.

With new, seemingly more lively foes on the field, the shadow glides into action. With not a care for the acidic gas he slides right across the ritual room and gets into range of the red draped blue creature. It takes a swing as it approaches, attempting to carve into the thing with a shadowy blade mimicking Godfrey's own weapon.

Unsurprisingly, Godfrey's shadow lazily trails after the paladin. Despite the dust and wind it seems just as dark and present as before, and even separates itself from direct contact with the man watch in the other direction.

Yes and Yes. Being incorporeal he can enter the wall, and incorporeal creatures can attack from inside a wall, they just go from being untargetable to targetable with cover.

The shadow abandons its apparent ritual of harrying the dragon's tail to redirect itself between Ragnar and the elemental after Hugsy falls. It moves at a mental direction from Godfrey, and is largely hoping to slow the creature down so the archer isn't smashed himself.

The shadow is probably upset about its master becoming tiling for the comet's surface, it's rather hard to tell. Harder to tell if it even noticed what Logan said, but it doesn't hesitate to continue what it was doing.

Instead it ends up hovering silently between Logan and Alvin in case anything moves in their directs it can try and hinder.

Can't wear a costume, but isn't one to be left out of any affair. As Lasaraleen is putting on the finishing touches of her outfit the shadow will float up behind her and touch down. It's form will change to gain an appearance imitating her natural shadow's, only rising up from the ground behind her and slightly too large.
All in all the effect is meant to be ominous and vaguely off putting as it trails behind.
I don't think it will be allowed to drain the strength out of anyone for risk of killing them, so it's just going to be creepy.
