1st: 3/3 Hey folks. I've got a herniated disc with sciatica, so I'm effectively bedridden for the next few days and likely won't be able to post until things have been reduced. Feel free to bot me as necessary.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 I'd be curious to find out why it seems to be only your games that have these strange posting issues. I haven't had such a problem in other games.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Sorry about that. I could have sworn that I posted that I was going to be away for all of last week. Unless it was one of those weird lost post things that seem to only happen with this game. Anyhow, I'm back now and I'll try to catch up on things if not post.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 WTH? I could have sworn I posted a perception check the other day...? Weird. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Sorry. For some reason I thought I had posted my perception roll.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene sighs at the note before moving off and preparing an area for her ritual, at which point she seems to begin gathering shadows about herself. Summoning my eidolon
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 "I will need some time to prepare if it looks like we will be moving against the creature sooner rather than later."
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene shrugs. "He's a big... eidolon... I'm sure he'll stay alive at least long enough for us to catch up."
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene nods. "It does seem a little strange. Did the man see the manticores perform this deed, or was it merely the results of the attack he saw?"
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 "If the 'adventure' is sufficiently interesting or the reward is dazzling, I could be of that type," Selene says, looking at the man.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene shrugs. "Your destiny is your own. Move against the demon or not it's up to you. Although if the gods do wish your involvement, events may arise to guide you towards this 'destiny'. Nonetheless, a demon god is not an orc or feeble wizard. We will require much in the way of planning and training if we are to have any hope in attaining this goal, whether the gods want it or not."
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene raised an eyebrow at Nijena insistance of having a place by their side in the journey. Strange... Sense Motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16 She then shrugs. "You never made such a vow to us, nor have we accepted. Nonetheless, as we are effectively hirelings of Corian, it is his decision to allow or bar you from our journey."
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 "I suppose it's a good thing we have no wagon and we are not men in the plural sense. I wonder who this 'N' is... Anyone you may know?" Selene asks, glancing over at Corian.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene only has Common, Aklo, and D'zirak. No orc. Unless we toss a point into linguistics to pick it up, lol.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 "Indeed. Although they could have left us one to play with," Selene says with a pout.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 *sigh* The problem with the forum is happening to me again. Feel free to roll initiative for me. Or I suppose I can roll it here, just not sure if I'll be able to post what she's going to do. Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Feel free to make the perception (and even initiaive) rolls for us, if you like, so you won't have to wait around for us all to make the rolls. That being said, if we continue to have trouble posting, the Discussion thread may need to become the new Gameplay thread. :P
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9 Yeah that seems to be happening to me too.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene considers all she had heard in the conversation as she prepares for her own sleep.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene leans back in a languid stretch. "I'm here to experience the world. Or to find different ways to amuse myself. Interesting how we are two... pseudo-constructs and two eidolons and a grippli. Unusual group," she says with a smile before focusing on the two androids. "So how is your experience of pain and other such sensations?"
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 A team with two androids! I knew I should have kept my original android application with Anni-I-LAT ;p
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 "Given some time to prepare, I can summon something of a second skin for myself. It limits my ability to summon such things as the eagle, but it allows me to bring wondrous pain to others in different ways," Selene says. "I would also prefer to activate our plan of attack in the dark or shadows rather than the bright of day."
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14 Selene raises an eyebrow at Shi'Vatha's strange resignation. "I don't understand. He is an enemy. Presumably this means he works against us or has other similar designs. Why is killing this individual require your resignation? I would expect that killing him and his associates is a requirement of the job if we are to reach our goal intact."
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 "Well, if Corian ends his watch as Shi'Vatha is leaving then your extra concerns will not be necessary. I need my beauty sleep so, if I have to take a watch, I'll take the last one."
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene cocks her head to the side as she looks Corian over. "Are you saying we are not going to 'clear out' some old house? Or are you merely offering more details of what is to come?"
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene looks over at Felicity. "You were created?" she asks. "You are some form of sentient construct? Do you feel pain? Emotion?" she asks in a curious analytical manner.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Actually it's a hit and the Eagle died and thus Selene summoned another one to do that damage. It's only a 20% miss chance. The shadow eagle cries out and begins to fly after the fleeing creatures, but Selene waves her hand and it dissipates into the shadows. "Pity they didn't try to communicate, or that we didn't take one down. I am curious as to their capacity for...," she pauses and shrugs. "Nevermind."
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 If the eagle was the one being attacked, there should be a 20% miss chance from the Shadow Blending ability (anything less than bright light causes 20% concealment, which, in this case, is not something defeatable by darkvision). If it hit, then the eagle is staggered and will take one more attack before dying. If that is the case, she'll summon a second eagle. Eagle's final attack
Second eagle's attacks (or first eagle's claw attacks if the leuc attack missed)
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene moves to a place where she can view the enemy and concentrates, causing a shadowy eagle to appear next to the nearest creature. The eagle cries out and attacks. Move action: to somewhere she can see the bad guys, no further than 25' away.
Eagle Talon 1 Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19+2 if flanking
Eagle Talon 2 Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12+2 if flanking
Eagle Bite Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9+2 if flanking
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Sorry. I got a little busy the past couple of days. Is the combat occurring near camp and is Selene aware of it now?
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene remains in the camp, seemingly enjoying this quaint bit of 'camping out'. Her curiosity had been piqued, however, with Corian's encounter with the fire ants and she had been peppering him the past few days with questions about the experience, particularly the details on the pain. Having sated her curiosity (at least as much as Corian had shared), she leaves him be.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene nods. "You are to gain the 'item' you refer to, any spellbooks, and now the first choice on other items. Provided your nature remains 'not greedy', this is acceptable."
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene shrugs "I wouldn't know if that is the actual going rate for such things, but as the others seem to agree, and the trek does sounds interesting, I shall join. What is the item you are in possession of, and how does it relate to the friend's estate? I am also curious, however, about these 'couple of exceptions'. Can you be more sepcific?"
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene pauses from her meal, dabbing at her mouth with a cloth, before turning to look at the man on the table. "Is this in reference to the flyer posted outside with regards to a sunset meeting?" she asked. "If so, I shall join you once I have finished my meal. If you are looking for some kind of pleasure slave, I'm afraid you'll have to look elsewhere." She then turns back to her bowl and continues to work her way through her stew.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 I've played in games that used either Roll20 or Google Drive (as well as some that just use imgur or whatver image site it is). I can't access Roll20 at work and they don't seem to have a mobile version, so I wouldn't be able to use it very often (I don't get time to use the computer at home all too often). I can't access Google Drive at work (I'm not actually sure why, since it's a useful tool for collaboration), but I do have an app for that, which is where I go for such things.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene raises an eyebrow at the inkeeper's comment Normal? So these others are not considered normal here? Interesting. She turns to reply to the frog-creature but he had moved off to greet the wizard. After a shrug, she instead hands the inkeeper the silver for the meal. "My thanks for the meal and the milk. I shall endeavor to finish it before all the positions the wizard is looking for have been filled." With that she begins to eat her meal, occasionally glancing over at Corian and those assembling.
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene blinks at the sight of the different peoples with the inn. After a slight pause, she moves up to the bar. "Pardon me, good sir, can you tell me of any interesting ways to pass the time in this town? It seems I must wait until sunset to meet a Corian Smither for some escort job I saw on a flyer on my way in, so I have a few hours to kill. Perhaps some lunch to start."
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene continues to wander along the street, looking at the people going about their day, forgetting herself. Bringing herself back to the present she looks around again for a place of lodging. If I cannot find an inn soon, then perhaps I'll need to ask one of these... townsfolk. Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Dailies: Shadow Summoning 6/6; disguise self 1/1 Spells:
1st: 3/3 Selene walked into the town eyes wide at all the activity. Even the cry of a child bawling in pain after skinning his knee draws her attention. Even here it is nothing like my homeland. Pain is neither an accepted nor a desired piece of one's life. What is right? My small nation, or the rest of the world? Her eyes continue to take in the surroundings as she searches for a place to stay or even some task she can apply her talents to in order to experience a life others not of her ilk may consider 'normal'. Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
