"Oh, hey there."The half elf greets you awkwardly as she unfastens her leather helmet with practiced ease. "Right, I imagine you'll want to know to know more about me?" Selene slings her bow over her shoulder and pulls out a carving-knife and a half-finished arrow shaft and leaned against the wall of her cabin. As she whittled away at the arrow, a a serene expression painting her face for a brief moment until she remembers she has an audience, and turns to you, scowling. "Well, what do you want to know?"

1, 2, and 3 and four fixed, though I did change arcane training to wizard instead of witch for mechanical purposes. (ie, Selene is an archer who make take a level of wizard later to show her effective hobby of dabbling in the arcane, and I wanted scribe scroll instead of a hex and an arcane bond with her bow instead of a familiar.)I made a few changes to her point buy system, one of which was moving the odd values around so she only has even ones and an 8 charisma instead of a 7.
5.) In answer to your question, I took Wisdom of the Flesh as much for flavor as anything else, and also to get acrobatics as a class skill (which rangers don't usually have.) It would be better if I could keep it dexterity based, and if you'd house rule that option for me I'd gladly take it. As far as personality and history goes, I updated Selene's history to being more involved in a small Canterwall settlement (not terribly far from Ravengro) and had her be a part of the local militia to help keep the town safe from orcs and undead, ect ect. I also changed her archetype from Trapper to Urban ranger to reflect the change, and changed a lot of her personality to match up with her belittled self-image and mildly militant attitude. Any other thoughts or questions for her? *smiles*

Composite Bows are expensive! And hard to make, too. That being said, crafting a composite bow with a strength rating of +4 isn't impossible, it's just a DC 22(I think) craft check. Selene manged to make one, and it was a very satisfying feeling, even if she doesn't make it into the game.
I just updated Selene's back story, when you've the chance to read it. That being said, I'm very sad that there aren't any monk submissions yet! I'd like to put one up, but I don't have the time to stitch together a back story, so I have some statistics that could be used. I gave him the trait of teacher's pet, debating for many long hours with the professor on the teachings of various faiths and religion. The consummate worshiper of Irori yet to be named. Quick question for about my lovely ranger(actually the first I've ever made!), who is just about finished. Having taken craft (bows) in order to be able to make arrows later in the game, I was wondering if I could also use my starting cash to attempt to make some arrows and a composite long bow, using the crafting rules. I know we won't do any in game crafting, but I like the idea of actually rolling the dice for some of my starting gear and maybe managing to get my hands on a decent bow. What are your thoughts?
dice: Arrows DC12 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 failed, materials preserved. Composite Longbow 4 DC 23 DC121d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 success! Arrows 2nd try 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20Success! That's a warm fuzzy feeling. *smiles*
