Sara listens to Master Fickleblooper's questions respectfuly, then excuses herself to go talk to Lady Aumber Gewbell. "Good Evening, Lady Gewbell." Sara gives a curtsey "As Master Fickleblooper said, my humble beginnings is as a baker, working in my father's shop, before I decided to try and help. Messes such as these always bleed downward. Is there anything you can tell us to help with any of these issues?"
Sara is in her off the shoulder dove grey dress with layers and layers of skirts, which she wore to in the masquerade party, only leaving off her mouse mask. Swishing along the hallway with the others, not a weapon in sight on the bard's body, she notes the council member's most likely to be her targets. "You are probably right" she agrees with Capricia "Maybe we can ask details of the 'illness' when we are wooing for the Princess"

so I think that leaves her ~3000 so she will buy a ring of protection +1

As the servants descend on the cleaning, Sara leans against Thalasou, shoulder to shoulder, waving her finger to magically remove the tea stain on his cuff and to offer the rest of her honeycake, only half eaten.
"That seems a bit desperate doesn't it? Bring an heir back from the dead to combat the Princess's popularity and rising power. If you put aside the sheer horror of the act, you could be flattered... in a way." Sara says as she shuffles around Martella's office, absently looking at this and that while nibbling on a tea cake. She doesn't add to Aerith's discussion on Yanmass, though she is not surprised that the brilliant elf knows more about her homeland than she does. Unfortunately, that doesn't stop her from talking, very little ever could, so she adds something of little import instead. "I hear they have a pan-fried bread there, that is often drizzled in salt. Of all things." followed by another bite of her honey cake.
Okay, I think I have Sara done. Thanks to Tazo's excellent advice I get to keep Sara pretty much how she was but still on track to become a Lion Blade. So rogue unchained level 2, bardic pretender as the talent, and accomplished sneak attacker as her feat.
That sounds amazing! Good choice. I made a mistake on Sara's path to Lion Blade. The archetype Wit for bard gets rid of inspire competence which is needed for Lion Blade, so as long as our GM doesn't object she will retool to get rid of the archetype, just vanilla bard (and slayer(cleaner) and unchained rogue of course). If that is acceptable she'll pick up a level of rogue with accomplished sneak attack as her feat, making her ready to pick up Lion Blade next level or wait a level and start doing dex damage, but that might not be needed since Aerith is becoming our melee fighter :)
As Bimble explains what has to happen to the circle, Sara admits "I can fiddle with a lock, but what you are describing is well beyond my abilities."
"Pretty" Sara says looking at the circle "Is it what we are looking for?" she asks Bimble and Aerith
"Oh good work" Sara congratulates Aetith through panting ickiness, bending over, hands on her knees like she wants to throw up repeatedly but has no idea if it would help so is just being ready in case her body makes up its mind.
Barely keeping herself together, she still manages to insult the thing though (for inspiration) "Gods, just being around you makes everyone feel like crap."
Sara opens her mouth, closes it, looks at the stammering Lotheed, tries again with the opening and closes, then sighs and points out "That thing is gross" she moves quickly to help flank for Capricia.
"Freedom fighters, we are!" Sara eases around him to gather up all the weapons, while hopefully someone stronger ties him and the others up.
Sara hurries to the other side of her favorite flanking partner and tries to help her put the blinded Lotheed down.
Sara gives a disappointed smirk "You lot don't buy that I'm a fluff of nothing maid, do you? Going straight for your swords as you are. Or are you simply Sooo bored you don't care?" she sighed, before drawing her rapier. "Either way, I guess we can get down to it." she gets into a defensive stance and hopes the others are not that far behind her.
Sara slips ahead of Bimble, still disguised as a maid (with a rapier) thanks to her magical hat. "At least they won't immediately scream BAD GUYS if they see me."
Sara does not in fact wander off in her own direction, but instead dutifully follows the wise old Fickleblooper.
"Sooooo, where too? I think from looking through windows we might have to go to the bottom floor to get to the tower. she puts out there. But if no one has a preference she'll point to the section northeast of H26 to make sure before they head downstairs.
The staggering amount of money in this one room is... staggering?? Sara's loss of words is coupled with a potentially mistaken value placed on spellbooks, probably due to being around Master Fickleblooper for vast periods of time. "yes the circle. In the tower I believe we were told."
I don't think Sara has any particular hate for the guy, but she could suddenly have a burning need to see him dead if that is good for a story. Murder hobo but for very literary reasons :)
I skipped down to the part about the wizard, so great job actually reading all of it!!!
"lovely ghost!" Sara beams a smile at him before she settles her skirts so she can get on the floor and turn her attention to the safe, unless we have the key of course.
"he is not happy. Any ideas what is bothering him?"
Sara's eyes flash happily when she discovers the locked drawer. "All the best trinkets are behind little locks." her picks slip out and then in, gently prodding until Click.
"I hope the desk does not come alive. It is much too lovely to hack into bits." Sara gushes a bit, before starting to look through the drawers.
Sara smoothers her friend in a congradulatory hug. "best part about enemies like this, is the clean up is sooooo much easier." she uses her foot to sweep the chair bits out of the way. "Now where?"
"This chair bear is rather hard to hurt. Hmmm..." Sara pauses in thought, not to contemplate how to hurt this thing, but at the amazingness of "CHAIR BEAR! I love that name."
"What, in the ever-loving biscuit, is that?" Sara exclaims with a questioning look at Bimble in hopes he can enlighten them all. She hurries to the other side of the chair if she can, to flank with Carpricia, made even better by her amazing distraction techniques of faking to foot slip.
Sara follows quickly behind Capricia and looks over the door.
Sara hunkers down in front of the door, looking at where Capricia points and comments as possible traps, "you could do this, you know? But..." she finishes up, and flashes her friend a grin.
"A SOUP spoon!!!" Sara says in true and deep wonder. "I was hoping for the teleportation circle but this is worth the delay."
"Oh clever." the baker grins, which falters a little bit as they make way for her to the door. She knows her attention to the little things isn't the best, but she tries anyway.
Sara sighs a bit, mutters about needing more practice, before digging into the new box.
As Hargus fails to get the last key to fit, Sara manages to get done with her cleaning. Slipping some lockpicks out of a pocket, she says "I can try, only wish a had a little guidance in these matters"
"Check for traps, just in case." says not the most perceptive maid as she cleans up blood and intestine stains.
Sara seems to hear Capricia's unspoken hopes and gets to casting prestidigitation on the bloodstrains, still disguised as a maid of course, for effect.
"Surrendering really would be a better option than dying for a stuffed prick with ego issues." she explains to the guard as Hargus and herself widdle down his ability to take that option.
Seeing the hallway open up like warm butter from a warm knife, the bard decided to abandon her rear gaurd position to the venerable Master Fickleblooper, and go help. Rushing to Hargus's side, she grins at him "Lovely day for an uprising, isn't it?" then she stabs the poor bloodied, blind guard in the thigh with her rapier.
The brown haired maid sticks her head in the hallway "The Count is a tyrant bleeding the people dry. You four, throw down your weapons and Oh!" she interrupts herself as Capricia guts one of them "You three, I mean, and your lives will be spared."
Sara stands near the door to the hallway. Between it and the doorway.
