Scarab Sages

Hello folks, i was making a new Wizard character checking my options from both legacy and remaster content but Staff Nexus seem to be... non-functional as written in both versions? I looked up and low and couldn't find a conclusive answer so that's why i came to ask my questions here which are as follows:

1) What happens if your makeshift staff is destroyed or stolen? There isn't any line of word like there is for Inventor Inventions to replace it, so you are just left class featureless if that happens?

2) From what i read and understand you don't need Magical Crafting feat to upgrade your staff but still need the Crafting skill because of the crafting rules. That's good and all but can you upgrade your staff to one type only once? What if i upgraded my staff to Staff of Fire but later i want to change it to let's say... Spellstriker Staff. What happens then? I just pay for materials, craft check and be done by losing previous "version's" gold (can't sell i am assuming) unless it is an upgradeable one?

These questions bothered me a lot and i couldn't find anything in the books. My group tries to play as close to RAW as possible so it is important that i know these things before playing because i don't want to lag or bother my GM when these things occur.

I am aware that there is a work around to these issues by simply retraining to another thesis and back but that is just... silly to say the least.

Thank you to everybody who replied in advance. :)

Context: I am a player in a PF2e game where my character has Nimble Shield Hand feat and had this situation pop up where i wanted to hold my main hand weapon in my "free" shield hand to use my now free main hand to use another weapon. At the time since i didn't want to lag the game i used an interact action to give my main hand weapon to my "free" shield hand to hold it and went on to play my turn but after the game looking around i can't find a rule or action for passing items between hands.

I googled and nothing came up so here i am asking: Is there an action cost? Closest i can find is two-hand grip interaction under wielding items but even though they are similar they are not the same. Same with dropping an item. Asking my GM he said there is the Juggler archetype for that but looking at that archetype that is not what i am trying to do, i just want to pass an item from one hand to the other which both are free. Does this mean you can't do it in combat? Can't i play a dastardly bandit who just "bounces" his shank between hands while not stabbing things? Is there a handedness rule? What is the secret to my mom making good cakes?

Thank you for reading and i hope you will help me shed some light to this. :)

Started a new Starfinder Campaign and i was RPing my Exocortex as a self-aware A.I. (She is speaking thru comms instead of my character) then a friend pointed out that it can't be a fully self-aware A.I. since it says; "though it falls short of being truly self-aware" at the ability description. It confuses me since the wording seems to imply it have got some sort of self-awareness. Just how aware is my A.I.? Is it at the level of Jarvis?

Hello fellow Pathfinders, i am a Kitsune Level 8 Oracle who is going for 9-tails. I always imagined and described her human form with fox ears and tails considering her specific human form as a human with racial heritage related to Kitsunes. Nobody in my local group objected to it or said it was wrong (including my VLs and VC) but i know Society is strict on rules and i don't want to run into trouble if i ever get out of my local circle with this character. I don't want to create another reskin/reflavor apocalypse. Can a Kitsune have a human form like that? If not, do they have an "in-between" form lore-wise or how can i achieve this otherwise?

Hello fellow pathfinders!

I am new to pathfinder and i was wondering if there is any item to help me with my knowledge checks(something like special diary or beastiary?). ATM i have a PFS character which is a monster hunter/witcher/mercenary and by level 6 i can make all knowledge checks with 10+ but it costs too much skill ranks.

If there isn't an item for such thing, can i create my own beastiary as a roleplay option? For example after killing a ghoul can i "study" it so when i see another ghoul later act like i succeeded my knowledge check and ask GM about their weaknesses etc.?

P.S. I am playing a Bladebound Kensai Magus which is planning to dip into Lore Warden at level 4(Currently level 2).
