I'm going to write my little review on the first book.
I honestly didn't like the idea of a guerrilla movement in this small colony. The Azlanti, who are indeed not regular soldiers but still cadets, have a prisoner escape. Two men are sent after him, but after a while neither they nor the patrol of three other cadets are heard from. Throughout the book there is no reaction to these events at all and the characters are offered to rest and leisurely carry out Airbetta's tasks. Why is there no alarm, why aren't all the remaining townspeople gathered in one room?
So I reworked the adventure a bit. First, I combined the first few fights so as not to overwhelm players in the first session with 4 consecutive encounters. Then, when they come to Airbetta, she gives a few quests while insisting that everything must be done very urgently, as the players have framed the entire settlement and reprisals are about to begin, so the remaining colonists have to take back the settlement before it. So she offers the heroes to kill the patrol that returns to the cemetery, she also says that in the warehouse you can get a good charge of explosives and some weapons, but most importantly - to disable the power plant that powers the cannon on the roof of the garrison. So I converted the moisture collector into a power station. I also redid the hobgars mission, instead of them I put a prisoner who recently tried to break the door to the garrison, so players may need him to find out the garrison's plan and infiltrate it.
In general, the players first went to the warehouse, there after the event with Rendell got explosives, then they destroyed the patrol in the cemetery, at this time, hearing gunshots and realizing that the village is under attack, Azlanti start blowing up houses with a laser cannon on the roof of the garrison. The heroes have to urgently run to shut down the power plant. While they are fighting the elemental, half of the colony's buildings are burned down, and some of the colonists who were going to help with the attack on the garrison are killed. The heroes then free the prisoner from the hobgar cage and decide to attack the garrison at night. They rest, leaving a few settlers around the garrison, but in the night they are awakened by the sound of gunfire, several Azlanti soldiers trying to make their way to the hovertrucks with batteries. When the heroes arrive, they see that Jelik Fulson is dead, and Airbetta is badly wounded and shooting back at the cadets. After the battle is over, the heroes decide to storm the garrison. They make a hole in the roof with explosives, then the story is clear.
Further the story with the ship I played out almost by the book, but I did not really like the sequence of fights first with worms, then zombies, then with soldiers, then with SHARU. I personally don't like having battles going one after another and having more than 2-3 battles in one game session. So I combined some things there too.
In general, I also did not like that the maps are very low quality and I can not get other maps somewhere.
Overall I don't regret buying these books, but they need some pretty serious reworking by a game master.
Sorry for my writing, I use a translator.
