Once done, he turns to the crystal and asks. "Anything in there we ought to check on, lass? Otherwise, I think we should check the other room."

Ryster glances into the room, then suddenly looks around in all directions, still not used to another voice inside his head.
Nodding he hold up the crystal. "Lass, apparently there is some raydation in that there room. Know anything about it?"
Peering at the glowing cameras and monitors, he says. "I could shoot those out."

Ryster nods and steps in behind Hedra. "Alright lass, time for you to try to talk to.....yourself, your figment self...." He says, holding up and presenting the crystal like it were a holy symbol.

Ryster examines the chips for a moment, turning them over in his hand, but then quickly turns his attention to the rifle. Holding it up, he peers at it admiringly. "Tis' a nice firearm!" He shoulders the weapon and peers down the barrel letting out a low whistle then jerking his shoulder backwards and making pow..pow sounds. "Wonder how this sucker works...?" He mumbles as he examines the workings of the rifle.

He says, though not entirely sure it makes any sense to himself, let alone a talking crystal...

Very much not enjoying the feeling of vertigo, Ryster keeps at least one hand on the corridor wall to steady himself.
Listening to the voices in his head, he nods, then points. "Look. What's that in the rubble? A wand of sorts?" He says as he moves to pick up the item.

When the crystal begins to swirl, Ryster startles, nearly dropping the crystal. Juggling it in his hands, he manages to keep from dropping it. Peering at the image, he turns to his companions, mouth agape. "What she sayin'?"

Ryster moves eagerly to the pile and begins sifting through it, holding things up and peering at them before handing them off and grabbing anorher item. "This thing makes light, called a flashlight, this, this is an emergency raft. This suit makes it's own camouflage, called a chameleon suit, I think. This turns into an emergency shelter. Pretty handy stuff." Holding up the twinning strands, he frowns, as if unsure. "This is something you can plug into ya head ta make ya smarter." Looking at the pale crystal he shakes his head and shrugs. "NO idea what the crystal is, other than a crystal." Feel free to read spoiler for better descriptions.

Ryster looks down at his bloody shirt and realizes he should heal himself. Getting out a wand, he begins mending himself.

As the sounds of battle subside, Ryster collapses to the ground and shakes a clenched fist at the sky. "WHY!? WHY!? Why'd ya have ta take me sight!? I'll never see me ma again!"
Momemts later when his sight returns, he blinks rapidly, glances around to see which of his companions witnessed his outburst, then quickly getting up, he brushes himself off, coughs uncomfortably, and loads his weapon.
After listening to the barbarian, he nods and motions to the cave. "I be ready...."

Ryster pauses to listen to the little voice inside his head, not sure if it his own or his companion's. Nodding and with sigh, as he sure this is gonna hurt, he begins loading and firing in the direction of the big robot with mechanical, blinding speed.

"AARGH!! Me eyes!" Ryster bellows as he blinded. "Filthy, cheatin', piece of metal rubbish....." He mutters as he takes the flask in his hand and mechanically infuses the bottled lightning into his musket cartridge. Cocking his head, he listens as he raises his musket in the direction of the largest robot. Exhaling he fires.

Grumbling to himself as the robots take forever to round the bend, Ryster uses his magically enhanced speed to dart up around the escarpment.

After trading techniques with the village healers, Ryster seeks out the vilaage brewer and begins questioning the person about the villages beverages. As he learns about fermented elk milk and mead, he in turn begins demonstrating techniques to brew a nice lager.

Ryster watches his companions as they attempt to impress/mingle with the Kellids. Lips pursed as he tries to come up with a to integrate with the tribe. Eventually he seeks out the tribes healer and offers to help create healing ungents and salves.
Alchemy: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (10) + 20 = 30
Looking through the healers herbs and ingredients, he fishes out his mortar and pestle, and begins grinding up selected reagents.
As he begins to warm up to his task, he becomes a little more verbose and questions the healer about local flira and fauna traditionally used for reagents.
Eventually he pulls out a bit of black powder, describes its creation, and demonstrates its use in cauterizing wounds in an emergency.

Ryster wanders the streets of Tymon, making a few purchases.
Upon returning, he grimaced when informed of the boat trip, but dutifully boards the boat. Along the trip, the dwarf is mostly tight lipped and slightly green.

Ryster shakes himself of his musings, stands and reaches into a pouch. Counting out twenty four platinum pieces, he drops them onto the table, then turns to Smine. "Can you point in the direction of the quartermaster or somewhere I can make some purchases?"

Ryster looks up from oiling his musket, glances at Smine, rolls his eyes, then glance at his "party". Watching everyone argue, he snorts, and goes back to his ministrations of his weapon.

Ryster eyes widen a fraction as Smine comes in and he gives him the secret dwarven greeting of a beard pull and head nod.
Grabbing a piece of bread and cheese, he sits back and listens thoughtfully as he absently wolfs down the food. Then, wiping his mouth with the back of his sleeve, he grabs a tankerd of cider and takes a long pull as the elf snatches up the notes.
Turning to Smine, he says, "And these Kellids, you think someone will remember 'ol Gojan? That was a long time ago."

My archeaologist would cover knowledge, my gunslinger also has levels of Alchemist, and has Disable. He is my preferred PC for flavor reasons.
