Seems this thin shelled eight foot long intelligent arthropodan that is full of a limitless reserve of lighter than air gasses (hydrogen?) breaths fire and can slow fall using web balloons, filled with their gas is my first Starfinder Society character.
First off I hate the drawing in First Contact. The "balloons" look small and added onto a drawing. It's considered humanoid so I would think it should be a little more humanoid shaped.
Unless I missed it the big guys have two arms and two legs despite the drawing. If someone can find otherwise does it effect anything by having more legs?
The float people away attack in First Contact went away and is now like flight level 1 lasting 1 round per level. You can keep doing this every round though.
Can you breath fire if both or either hand is in use?

For years I have ran and played Pathfinder and D&D before that it has always been one roll no matter the number of opponents on a move through threatened squares. You simply add 2 for each opponent and add 5 for each enemy square you move through. You look at your roll modify it and if it beats everyone's CMD you are good. If it fails everyone's CMD they all get to attach and if opponents have different CMDs then you get attacked by the ones you failed on.

Recently I came across a GM that not only adds 2 for each opponent but has you make a separate roll for each opponent. I understand the logic but it seems to double penalize the tumbler. What is the official way of playing this action?

Example: If I am moving through the threatened squares of three opponents and one of those I am moving though that gives me a -9 to my roll. If their CMDs are 13, 18 and 23 and I roll a modified Acrobatics roll of 18 (Unmodified 27) then the third opponent gets an AOO.

I am not getting into half movement here just the number of rolls.

I notice when I am printing from my PDFs a letter does not print. It is in the font that is used for section titles and maps. The letter is at least the “A" if not other letters too. I just noticed the A because it is so common. The Outline will often print but not the actual filled “A”.

If your rogue is locked in a cell with no equipment but rough sack clothing can she pick the lock and if so what is the DC? Since they have no access to tools at all can they?

Cincinnati is hosting twenty four tables of Pathfinder Society. We have chosen year three scenarios to fill those slots.

The price is right at $7 for a day or $10 for the whole weekend.
Hotel costs are $60 for the night with reservations at the Atrium’s front dest.
Onsite food is good and affordable.
There will be six tables of the new VC only scenario coming out in February.

So there are lots to do and lots to play at this years convention. So come to Cincinnati to play or judge adventures.

I am playing a fighter that enjoys using Overrun and Bull Rush but wonder if there are any weapons that their master work and magical enhancement bonuses would add to the combat maneuver check?

I'm sure everyone else has figured it out already but I finally came up with a calculation for distance to a flying opponent in Pathfinder (DnD).

When you know the altitude and the distance from a target take the smaller of the two numbers and divide by two (for distances ending in 5 add 2.5) and add it to the larger number and subtract ten. That is you distance to your target.

So it your target is at 215 feet away 115 feet high.

(115 away ÷ 2) = 57.5 + 2.5 = 60 + 215 high = 275 - 10 = 265 feet

If the target is 35 feet away and 60 feet high.

(35 away ÷ 2) = 17.5 + 2.5 = 20 + 60 high = 80 - 10 = 70 feet

If the target is 75 feet away and 60 feet high.

60 high ÷ 2 = 30 + 75 away = 105 - 10 = 95 feet

Will unpainted or painted miniatures of Tengu come out soon? Hours were spent searching for a Tengu monk until I finally gave up and bought an elf and modified him. Here is the result. It would have been much easier to have had some to choose from. Will Reaper or Heroclix be making these soon?
