It does the job

3/5

It's free, and for that reason alone you can't expect a lot of the sheet. It's exactly what it says it is, a simple character sheet. Nothing fancy, just the basic information and not a lot of room for detail, but it will keep an NPC straight. I'd rather use the official Pathfinder sheet for PC's and just jot NPC's down on 3x5 cards and the like, but this will work.

Outstanding product

5/5

This product has changed the way I run my games. It does exactly what it purports to do, helps you to organize your information into an easy to follow outline. I keep my NPC lists (sub-categorized into regions), images that I want to show my players, maps, outlines, flowcharts... pretty much everything is in here, and is easy to access. Add to this integration with Nbos software's excellent Inspiration Pad Pro and a built in dice roller, and you have a winning piece of software. Being able to installit to run completely from a thumb drive is just an outstanding bonus, allowing me to move my campaign notes from computer to computer without problems. No bugs I've encountered, and great utility, I recommend this product to all game masters without reservation.

One of the most useful products for gaming

5/5

I used a large Chessex Battlemat for years for my Battletech and Champions gaming. It was great for large Battletech games, but took up too much space and was too easily stained for Champions. Recently finding this product was a godsend. It erases cleanly no matter what I draw on it with, it folds up to fit in my notebook easily, and it has just enough space for most situations. It could stand to be a row or two wider or longer, but that's a quibble. This stands out as a fantastic, deceptively basic, product that no game master should be without.

Incredibly valuable tool

5/5

This is possibly the most valuable tool I have as a DM. Keeping track of what's happening in a battle is so much easier, and just having the dry eraser surface for notes is a big help. Normally if I DM at my home, I use my PC and software to manage combat, but I run a lot of games in other people's homes where I can't have my PC. This little gem just fits right into the inside file pocket of one my my binders, making it very easy to transport. I'd recommend this product to anybody.

Not a bad product, but....

3/5

First, it's a good idea and concept. It's nothing that you couldn't do yourself at home, but it's nice to have everything tied together in one place. The new spiral binding works well for laying the book flat without destroying it.

It could stand to be bigger. Maybe not a full 8.5x11, but as it is, it's a bit cramped. Plus it doesn't stack well with other books at its current size. The print color is the worst problem, it's very difficult to read in anything but the best light. Instead of the light blue that is now used, switch to regular black ink, and this would be a much easier product to use.
