May we request a PDF of the adventure if we are GMing on Free RPG Day? I would rather not have to arrive at the shop early, grab a copy there for the first time, and run semi-cold.
Having just finished Nothin But A Good Time: The Uncensored History of the '80s Hard Rock Explosion, I would love to pick up this one for something completely different. Well, almost completely different, as both appear to share one common plot point:
Spoiler:
Something tried to kill the metal... and succeeded.
Plus they may have another commonality in that one name led to another similar-sounding name. Much like Ratt guitarist Warren DeMartini was the inspiration for Warrant (who had WAY more songs than "Cherry Pie"), Merisiel may also be derived from Merciel. (I, for one, will almost surely say one when I mean the other!)
As someone who tends to write stuff down a lot, I would often record information that the party learned about monsters. Then in future adventures I would consult the notes. All of my GMs have been fine with it, as Pathfinders are expected to explore, REPORT, and cooperate.
All I want is for it to be a more swashbuckler-esque combatant if it stays with Charisma as its main attribute, or switch to Wisdom if it keeps the monastic flavor.
Make solarians a Wisdom-based class if they are keeping the monastic traditions. Or flavor them more like swashbucklers if they are staying with Charisma.
I will see how complete of a list I can make. Several of these are a few degrees of Kevin Bacon away from Aslynn herself. The key lists several metaplot threads that involve Aslynn at some point.

Paizo making some enemies neutral when they acted evil has sometimes been an issue.
Me: "I cast Divine Lance."
GM: "You hit."
Me: "It deals good damage."
GM: "It doesn't appear to have an effect."
Me: "Are you @&#%ing kidding me Paizo!"
Are things like divine lance which deals alignment damage also going away then?
This is also one of my concerns. I would prefer to have a "smite-enemy-of-the-faith" spell in its stead, and define "enemy of the faith" as whomever I choose.

NOTE: I have not actually read the scenario. These are merely guesses, but they may or may not be accurate.
You all know that Europe released songs other than the Final Countdown, right? The whole Prisoners in Paradise album is amazing. That should get its on scenario, or maybe a 32-page module.
We can make followers of Kadrical yes? He is nicer than the Society-legal Devourer, and his portfolio appears to fit well with the aims of the Starfinders.
Mine is in honor of the film The Dirt, the film adaptation of Motley Crue's biography, recently being released on Netflix. While I certainly don't approve of the actions in the Girls, Girls, Girls B-side power ballad You're All I Need, I can't deny my appreciation for the art form known as lyrical dissonance.
The title is reminiscent of soap opera star Jack Wagner's soft rock hit All I Need, as Crue bassist and chief songwriter Nixxi Sixx suspected his girlfriend of cheating on him with Wagner. Meanwhile, Sixx was cheating on her with twenty other women, but the hypocrisy failed to register in his drug-addled mind. Vince Neil's soaring upbeat vocals stood in sharp contrast to the tragic tale of the murder of a lover so that the heartbroken narrator could keep her all to himself.
Sixx showcased his dark humor most prominently in the verse-ending line, "But we finally made the news," evoking nostalgia of a time in which securing a headline could be considered relationship goals, long before the era of tweets and hashtags. While this tune would possibly be barred from mainstream airwaves in the modern climate, You're All I Need will remain in the hearts of classic headbangers as one of the all-time great ballads. (OK, maybe not. Home Sweet Home is a far more popular example of a slow pretty song from the leather-and-umlaut clad bad boys.)
Bard is an excellent choice for this AP. I recommend it 100%. My bard has been absolutely killing it on keeping up alliances with respect to political intrigues, seducing characters that are depicted as attractive in the artwork, and buffing his allies into becoming even more efficient murder-machines. Argent Voice is an archetype made for this campaign, so I suggest at least giving it a look.
I've recently played several Starfinder Society adventures. On one of those adventures, I managed to grab a few items (Clearsight Goggles and two Mk 2 Healing Serums).
My question: do I need to purchase those items off the chronicle sheet to "officially" have them, or did my character have them as soon as he picked them up?
You have those items until the end of the scenario (and may use up consumables before then). At the end of the scenario, rather than dividing up individual items, all players will get credits on their chronicle sheets. In order to permanently possess an item, you will need to buy it with your earned credits.
I would like it if we just dropped deity alignment and used anathemas to control which clerics can worship whom. I think anathemas are much more clear role-play hooks then alignment, especially since no two people can agree on what Chaos and Law are.
I second this idea. Concrete rules are better guides for behavior than alignments, which can be subjective. My characters who worship Gorum tend to act lawful good, despite being chaotic neutral on paper, and I’ve never been warned that I was close to violating Gorum’s tenets.
Hey - one of my local GM's is getting ready to run this as a PFS sanctioned event & he's got a question about the sanctioning document - the small box on the 1st page lists the level ranges starting at level 11 & ending at 15 [11-13, 12-14, 13-15, & 14-16 for the bonus sheet].
Unfortunately the actual chronicle sheets start at 10th level, thus the ranges are 10-12, 11-13, 12-14, & 13-15.
Which of these is correct?
I'm inclined to go with what's on the sheets, personally.
I am also inclined to go with the tiers on the chronicle sheets, as GMs will see those numbers in character records.
