Oh snap! I didn't even realize that I had applied Rhonir to this game before as well!

Grand Lodge

I'd like to throw Rhonir into the submission pool. I may go back and clean up his background a bit. This is one of my older character ideas and I've never gotten around to bringing him up to my current standards.

Man that sounds conceited.

Quick edit: His combat style would be Faithful, Erastil

Grand Lodge

Just realized that Rhonir didn't even make the list if possibles. Oh well, such is life. Good luck to those chosen.

Grand Lodge

Whelp, I sure hope that Rhonir here gets a right good consideration. Good luck to all.

Grand Lodge

I need to tweak this character to fit your crunch guidelines but, I would like to submit Rhonir. A Wild Shadow Ranger.

Grand Lodge

Whelp, looks like I'll just be meandering on outta here. Good luck to ya'll.

DM: if you don't mind sharing, what criteria are you using in your selection process?

I'm sure selecting among so many applicants is not easy.

Now, this is just a guess now, but, I reckon he's usin' the same method many of the Gods do when decidin' ifin they're gonna help us: toss a coin and see who Lady Luck favors.

Holy guacamole! Good luck to all!

I would love to be a part of this game, and every post after the submission feels like lobbying for my character's inclusion, which I hate. But it feels like I have to be as active as Faelar on this thread, in order to not give the impression that I am uninterested or apathetic. If the player who posts twice as much as any other gets selected, it would be very hard not to feel that their enthusiasm/lobbying was a contributing factor. This has been quite unlike other recruitment threads in this regard.

Don't feel that way. I've had this character in my head for about 3 years (my irl group at one point was going to run KMKR) and even if it's just goofing around it feels good to let him out.

Man that sounds crazy.

Also, not to sway anyone but, uh, tomorrow is my birthday...

Theodore is just looking for his friend and fulfilling a favour to said friend. So the thought of setting up a Kingdom would never even cross his mind. He is also looking to prove to people that fighting isn't the only answer, however he also wants to get stronger so that he can protect those who need protecting when words fail.

If Theodore is selected as well as another melee type character, Theodore would probably want to spar each evening to keep his skills in tact as well as get better.

I reckon that headin' into the wilds could prove to be just the thing a man would need in order ta get away from the more "civilized" lands.

If the need for a township were to ever rear its head I think a more agraian philosophy would be something a man could be comfortable with.

Ha, I like how you think. The only bandits I deal with are either dead or friendly. Let's hope that you're the latter, and the ones that aren't end up as the former.

Well, as far as I'm aware I've yet to meet the Lady of Graves.

All this talk of the Gods and community and no one has mentioned the God that matters the most in the early mornings -- coffee.

Helps rouse the spirits, you know?

Grand Lodge

Full disclosure: I'm a little relieved you said that.

Grand Lodge

Maybe it's the nature of the campaign but, I am noticing a trend with mounted characters. XD If I manage to work up an arcane build soon would it be alright if I throw in a second submission?

Grand Lodge

I had completely forgot about the Leadership roles.

I suppose I would see Rhonir as a Marshal or possibly Royal Enforcer.

Thank you Rhonir, I must've missed it while scanning through stuff.

I present my Investigator, Khosis Aeranae. A bastard of the Surtova hailing from the Northern city of Port Ice. A former criminal now blackmailed by his uncle into serving him (for the time being). I apologize if it is a lot to read through, I really loved the character idea when I made him and I hope to get to use him in this campaign. The fluff contains not just the usual information but also where I see him doing best for rulership and how he works with parties.

** spoiler omitted **...

Lolz two Half-Elf former criminals.

@ DM Talomyr - What will you be doing for starting gold? I'm assuming standard procedure for HP? (Max at 1st, 1/2 + 1 after?)

Max wealth for you class.

Grand Lodge

Submitting Rhonir as my Half-Elf Wild Shadow Ranger. A former bandit who is just looking to find a place to forget about his past misdeeds and make up for the crimes he committed as a youth.
