See now it makes no sense. To many underlying rules and FAQ making it Clouded... If I can pick a two handed weapon and swing it I am getting far less power than holding it with both hands... This being that I was Capable of doing by a Feat known as Awesomeness. Now you saying a two handed weapon relies on Size and weight... Why cant we keep things simple... If its in 1 hand its one handed for everything.
BLAH I SAY BLAH! ![]()
I think the big issue is that PFS has to be so flexible that no one really looks at it this way... It is built for plain normal characters. If you look at the groups that get wiped, yeah dice rolls may be involved. But people always build these extreme focused Characters that just can not perform in half the modules unless its completely combat based. PFS doesn't really push the Social Classes out and give them the options to shine as much as they could. I have been in games where a Bard Defeated a group with a simple Social roll and saved everyone from combat. Now what happens they are completely usesless and can assist in other facets... I commend you for your General Build and sorry you got treated that you were in an MMO Dungeon group that wanted to complete their mission in record time. But that seems to be the way its going. Unfortunately for me though if you were a Bieber Clone i would attempted to end you!!!! ![]()
Fighters can HANDLE ANIMAL! I think the big problem is that in these worlds High Level Characters and NPCs will only ever make up for maybe and I mean maybe 1% of the world. You are the pinnacle of your class. Unless you have an End Game in Mind you really do not have a drive as soon as you are high level. Your wealth is in millions. Your items are as close to relics as possible. The only drive usually involved is Saving the world or Building a kingdom! ![]()
Magical Aura is something you emit and has different Strength levels If you are say Cloaked in Invisibility Someone turns on Detect Magic 1st Round: Presence or absence of magical auras. 2nd Round: Number of different magical auras and the power of the most potent aura. 3rd Round: The strength and location of each aura. If the items or creatures bearing the auras are in line of sight, you can make Knowledge (arcana) skill checks to determine the school of magic involved in each. (Make one check per aura: DC 15 + spell level, or 15 + 1/2 caster level for a nonspell effect.) If the aura emanates from a magic item, you can attempt to identify its properties (see Spellcraft). Now here is the Kicker you can actually Track someone in Invisibility Lingering Aura: A magical aura lingers after its original source dissipates (in the case of a spell) or is destroyed (in the case of a magic item). If detect magic is cast and directed at such a location, the spell indicates an aura strength of dim (even weaker than a faint aura). How long the aura lingers at this dim level depends on its original power:
So depending on the str of the Magic involved will determine the aura SLAs and SUs are treated as Spell casting they can be Canceled with Anti Magic Spells and Effects and for all Purposes they are using the Given Spell. So with all this Information an SLA and an SU ability will leave an Aura... Using the Hit Dice of the Creature or given caster Level will determine the Potency of the Aura... If the ability is EX it will not leave an Aura ![]()
Feats create problems in many situations because alter or change rules... Then you get feats that can remove or break a rule that feat just made and it turns into 20 page forum argument because people are all correct in their perception of how they UNDERSTAND it but others dont... And 1 of those could be and another could be completely wrong or Both could be Completely wrong. The only alternative I can think of is instead of Feats you just Say I wanna do this ok make a roll Dufficulty 10 15 20 whatever... And go from there ![]()
71. Dwarven Rune Forge This book holds techniques of imbuing any item with a powerful rune that held magic properties based on the crafter's desire. This book was lost in Dwarven and Troll wars when a Coven of Hags finally broke the dwarven city known as Rune Forge. This Dwarven lineage held their secrets from the world as their weapons and armor seemed to hold magical properties that captured and held magic within them. The location of the City was lost and along with the knowledge of this forging technique. ![]()
66. Book of Memories This book is a plain leather bond book with simple buckles at the top and bottom. This book was actually created by Wizard who desperately was seeking immortality. he invited all beings to his library to gather knowledge and many took up his free offer to share. His books were actually enchanted in a very unique way. When one reads from the this book it records the knowledge they possess within its infinite pages.
Once a person's memories and knowledge are taken in by the book all one needs to do is know the name of the individual that has viewed the pages and one can learn all knowledge that individual possessed. ![]()
No it actually doesnt Uncanny Dodge makes someone immune to the Dex Loss of being Flat footed... Cannot be Caught Flat footed, nothing in says IMMUNE to the effecto becoming Flat Footed... Example Gunslinger Startling Shot (Ex): At 7th level, a gunslinger with least 1 grit point can spend a standard action to purposely miss a creature that she could normally hit with a firearm attack. When she does, that creature becomes flat-footed until the start of its next turn. They can be forced flat footed they just dont start the round flat footed without someone using an ability. AS for UNCANNY DODGE.... All it is doing is
No where in this class feature does it say you are immune. A character who has not yet acted during a combat is flat-footed, unable to react normally to the situation. A flat-footed character loses his Dexterity bonus to AC and Combat Maneuver Defense (CMD) (if any) and cannot make attacks of opportunity, unless he has the Combat Reflexes feat or Uncanny Dodge class ability. Characters with Uncanny Dodge retain their Dexterity bonus to their AC and can make attacks of opportunity before they have acted in the first round of combat. ![]()
