We definitely need to take a step back and let Paizo catch a breathe and do something completely new.

Take all Major Mechanics
Feats
Skills
Combat
Class Skills

Break them down and develop a book that shows us better depth on what is expected of their use. Honestly I have seen 75% of these Forum questions start off with a question and then it wanders into 10 other discussions.

I would definitely buy this book and I am sure others would to but we need to stream line a bunch of this stuff with strictly the mechanic the rules that relate to them and what stacks and what works.

I know this may get a few votes and it may get blasted but it would really be a nice addition.

Ok so here is the question, and yes this may be a silly one

Using TWF you get half your Str bonus in the off Hand... So what about for Dex based Characters.

If you take Double Slice it specifically talks about STR now, it is a simple adjustment to say yes they use dex. But that doesnt seem right.

The other side to this is would the need a weapon with the Agile Enchantment to get that bonus applied to Dex if we would not carry the feat over?

Just some thoughts and wanted opinions. I am seeing it kind of like the Two Handed Weapon. Since you dont get str x1.5 when you are using Dex.


I read the Rules on CMB and I was in a game recently with a player who told me that you get your weapons Enchantment Bonus Added to your CMB.

I read where the Enchantment Bonus applies to Hit and Damage, but no where did it state it adds in to CMB.

In fact CMB States Abilities and Feats + Str and Base Attack...

Is this correct?


I have been a GM for Several years... I really enjoy Pathfinder and just started playing Society... I would like to start GM for Society but I would like to use the Sanctioned Adventure Paths Shattered Star, Rune lords, etc....

Are there rules for Progression for this?

From my experience so far and I have only been playing PFS a short time is I would like get some more in-depth Sessions going. I have met some cool people at the Sessions I have attended... I was also wondering why King Maker was not Sanctioned I think that would be an Amazing one for PFS... The only real Changes would be that the players would not be the Primary Adventure group... they would be doing things as secondary adventure groups... Heck it would even make an interesting story to have PFS players be able to say we built that tavern! or We claimed that Mine and are currently making a Deal with the King to do this that or something...

I think PFS would have a lot if Interesting Stories going around after that...

So my main Questions are what are the Adventure Path Advancement Rules and Treasure Rules?
And is there a Way to that we could Mod Kingmaker to PFS?

Recently was in a High level game and there was a debate on bonuses of tomes and wish stacking?

Do they stack or no?


I wanted to get some opinions on Knowledge checks...

They seem extremely overpowered, and remove a lot of fun from the game if you can abuse them on monsters to such an extreme. Doesn't it take away a lot of the fun of running into something and suddenly pulling up information randomly as a free action... Last time I checked this was not a poke'mon game? Any ideas or clarification would be great...

Now this relates more to starting at level 1 and advancing I am not talking about high level characters or anything...
