Two older brothers
Born and raised in the Lands of the Linnorm Kings, Rashid always felt like an outsider, and his parents' dedication to their missionary duties further isolated him. He picked up his on his parents' good will, as they discriminated against no one who was willing to to be sent on in death in the arms of Pharasma. When thieves came (mistakenly) to his house, Rashid killed a young woman. His parents hid the occurrence, but Rashid was cast out to the streets for his and his parents' protection. His life turned upside down, and his faith in any deity shattered, Rashid found himself traveling to find purpose and make a living as a woodcutter. The Pathfinder Society seemed like a good place to start.
