So, my team of 8 players noticed that fighting against big monsters is a bit frustrating for such a big party. Since I cannot bring myself to olny put encounters with 5+ enemies for time issues, martials tend to hit a bit rarely even with teamwork against big critters wich leads to feeling like the turn is mostly wasted after you miss with your first attack. The general challenge feels right, the monsters die as intended but the process of doing so proves to be rather tedious for them because of this all or nothing nature of martial that do one or two attacks per turn.
I shall try to decrease the armor class of big enemies (Level +1 or more) and rise their hp pools accordingly (I suppose every point of armor class taken away should be a 10% increase in hp).
What do you people think? Is this a recipe for doom and suffering or could it work? I would like to note once again that it will be an experiment, if it does not work it shall be dropped.

Maybe I just got a bit of hope regarding what is in my opinion the worst weapon in the game, the lance. Emphasis on the maybe.
This hope comes from a poor knowledge of a specific rule so you will probably destroy my theory with you so called facts and logic but for just a bit of time i will believe.
Can the Thaumaturge use Implement Empowerment on a lance wielded in one hand on horseback thanks to the jousting trait? Or does it still count as a two handed weapon? Give me hope people, my knightly dreams are in shambles

Greetings, I'm currently running a precision ranger since it is my favourite class and as my first time as a player with free archetype i went for fighter dedication, planning to stay there for the entire campaign (which is the Curse of the Crimson Throne 2e conversion).
I use a 2 handed bastard sword as my main weapon and nearing mid levels i began to look around for feat that allows me to do a BIG HIT WITH BIG NUMBERS. I am struggling to choose one that benefits the character and I feel a bit undecided.
Would you suggest to get Power Attack and then Furious Focus or should i go with Dual Handed Assault? What would you choose and why?

I am fully aware of the advantages of mounted combat and i very much like it, expecially when compared to the clunky mess that it was in pf1. What I am rather disappointed in is the lance. It is a pretty mediocre martial weapon than becomes better at the expence of action economy and quite a lot of feats to remain relevant. It is straight up bad if you do not fight mounted (duh) but even then it really lacks. It basically becomes a scythe with no trip only if you keep moving around limiting you to only one attack per round or so, it loses the main advantages of reach if you are not small and using it one handed hampers your damage potential even further (why using it if you don't get loads of damage on a single strike?). The horse support makes it better at the cost of the same action but it still pretty much limits you to only one strike per turn if you still want to use the mount main advantage, its mobility.
But cavalier's charge! Yes, alas it would seem that cavalier's charge does not stack with the horse support.
But even if it did, why not just use a d12 weapon? It will be pretty much just as good on the charge (reach rules when mounted) and straight up better the rest of the time.
Maybe I am exagerating a bit but I do not quite see the point in lancing with a medium sized character and therefore I am sad since cavalier used to be my favourite class. No sir, I don't like it.
Anyone willing to lift my spirit by telling me why I am wrong?

Here is a short and rather shabby very biased handbook on one of my favourite classes in the game. I would really like some inputs and suggestions to make this a bit better so fling your criticism and (eventual) compliments my way.
Guide to the Ranger

I have a question about this particular rune. It seems to have the "Forceful" trait and when I go to watch what it does it sends me to the forceful weapon trait. Does this mean that the rune also gives that peculiar trait to the weapon or is this just a case of homonymy? Just to be clear, i was checking it out on AoN

Greetings law abiding citizens, i made this here guide on how to be a stuck up douchebaggy smartypants. Enjoy and let me know about the grave errors i made in the making of the document

Quite Elementary Indeed

This is a short one: does standing up from prone breaks a grapple you are holding since standing up has the move tag?

Greetings. As the title suggests Im aiming to make a fight club like session and i wondered if i should do it at all and in such a case, if i should use the duel rules.
The general idea was a gladiatorial deadly match between adventureers but im not sure on how to implement it, Do you guys have any suggestions? Can it be fun?

Maybe I'm missing some key ruling that specifically does not allow to do this but is there something forbidding me to use devise a stratagem repeatedly out of combat (in exploration mode, whatever) untill i get a 20 or a high enough number to satisfy me and then attack starting combat? Does everyone start rolling initiative in the moment i first say that i will use devise a stratagem?
Maybe i am looking at it the wrong way but i am having a hard time determining how the transition from exploring and combat works and when it happens.

Greeting paesants, this is my first try at making some sort of guide and i hope it does not suck too mutch. If you have critiques or feedback I'll be more than happy to hear it.
A Guide to Evil Champions

Greetings, i have a simple question. Are monk stiles needed to be performed with a specific body part (say, tiger claws requires your hands to be free) or are they free styile?
