Good point, but I have questions.

Questions for us or for the OP?

You could always start a new thread if you want to keep this from getting agressive again?

Questions for the OP. Haven't gotten response yet. Methinks it's best to let this die a quietly.

You MONSTER!! Soddy is my FRIEND!! We'll just see about THAT!! Sara "rolls up her sleeves" in preparation to do something.

If I'm not online when it gets to me, I'll first attempt to stabilize Soddy. If that's already happened, then I mage hand throw a seedpod. If that's ok with Soddy, of course.

Dark is definitely NOT my color.

Did someone say g-g-g-ghosts?

Sara can't see a thing beyond her torchlight. Scooby Doo hasn't made an appearance in a while.

My turn? Is it my turn? It's my turn, isn't it? Sara seems to have relaxed a bit since joining the party.

Climb: 1d20 ⇒ 16

That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be Sara looks down. Oh dear. I shouldn't have done that. Sarah carefully and slowly backs AWAY from the edge.

whir, click, bot CATORZE

I'm sure Catorze will make sure all securements are in place, rope knotted, carefully look at the wall she needs to free climb, and make her way to the top.

14's climb: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31

Guys, I got this! Catorze will secure the rope at the top, and release the other end down for the rest of the party to climb up.

Eventually all of you cross over.

Now, roll a d10 because...

Remember that offering you used to cross the rift in the first place? The trifle, merely a token, what you weren’t attached to? Well, you have it back, now roll a d10. CONGRATULATIONS that item now:

1:
bears a coat of purple fur that regrows if shaved off.

2:
emits a mild pine scent.

3:
changes colors according to its owner’s moods.

4:
giggles and coos when used.

5:
When used, it emits a stream of tiny iridescent bubbles.

6:
When placed on a flat surface, it rotates slowly counterclockwise.

7:
If dropped from more than 2 feet up, it bounces.

8:
sprouts tiny, blinking eyes.

9:
cries if its owner leaves a room without it.

10:
When in use, the it repeats everything its owner says in a singsong voice.

Please make a note of it.

Lovissa, I too smell a side quest.

Maybe these Ekujae Elves are no better than the Aspis. Beating, pillaging, and plundering when talking openly will solve most issues.

I knew that. I've just gotten so used to my regular players being done with tier appropriate combat in one shot, I've taken to upgrading.

I really should have my coffee and actually look at who is playing afore combat starts.

Jamil greets you. Ah, I see you have arrived. I am Jamila, a friend of Ashahar. I work as liaison between the Pathfinder Society and the Concordance.

Falbin interrupts, [b]I saw it, clear as my own nose, and felt it on my gooseflesh. About 3 miles south of Bellis—a fine spot to gather pokeroot, even in autumn—everything suddenly gets hot. Summery. I dare say, even tropical! The flora overflows. It’s a jungle out there!

The Concordance:
The bird's name is Targos.

Grand Lodge:
really? you couldn't decide?

Dark Archive:
I miss the old Cheliax faction.

The Exchange:
Why not exchange this for Dark Archive?

Liberty's Edge:
What does this one do again?

Scarab Sages:
Bugs. You've got bugs.

Silver Crusade:
Is there a Golden Crusade?

Sovereign Court:
It's good to be the king.

I agree but by RAW it says "players". I don't consider myself a player when I am GMing.

I just wanted to raise the question so when the final program gets included in the guide it will include GMs.

I'm fine with considering the GM a "special player" - he's certainly participating in the game.

Apart from that, players can of course try to double-whammy bribe the GM with locally bought treats. "Before we open that ominous-looking door, let's buy the GM a coffee for good health..." :P

Bribing me with coffee is very effective.

As a woman, chocolate works wonders.

This worked out incredibly well for my last table.

I had just read and reread the blog. Once I had satisfied myself that I knew what I was doing, I spoke with my FLGS and the owner/operator is all for it.

Two of my players promptly bought character folios, one for each player, thereby reaching the first tier. Also purchased were multiple minis; not enough spent to reach second tier.

The bad news is that my dice were very hot that night. The +5 to Con was saved one of the PCs from death. First level PC, experienced player, so no big thing but still.....

It is likely that one or both of my new players will be spending more next week.

I count snacks, soda, non-Paizo product towards the goal of $20/$50 as any money spent at the store benefits the small business owner. Whatever I can do to keep him in business and allowing us to game at his store I will gladly do.
