Phantom blade work, but not so good.
The spell list for phantom blade is not good, but if you wish to play a WIS meele one-hand magus...
Biped is good for non synthesist.
Well, summoner don't multi class very well. Synthesist don't work well in DEX build... Ninja don't stack good with summoner.
For feats: divine fighting technique(way of the shooting star), noble scion(war), and discordant voice.

1) Cleric: the reason? because you got to pick last lol. In all seriousness, the party will lack healing potential, the ability to cure ability damage at lower to mid range levels, and full access to a massive divine spell list.
2) Oracle: The sorcerer equivalent for divine magic.
3) Inquisitor/warpriest: Also divine casters, but typically somewhat selfish ones. Lost of self buffs and cool combat based judgments. Can be either ranged or melee focused builds.
4) Skald: I put this here simply on the case that sometimes you'll have more than 4 people show up. Group buffs effects get stronger and stronger with more party members.
5) Debuff witch: Cause landing spells and making enemies fail saves is fun.
Good suggestions!
But, from someone who play with a cleric, a advice: Don't play with a cleric...
Halfing Vanguard slayers are good.
For the halfing, get: Fleet of Foot and Irrepressible if you like.
Get FCB for halfing slayer, a bonus on AC on slayer targets.
For two-weapon fighter, get combat style with power attack option to ignore prerequisite. begin with shield bash feats, IDK the feat order, but, Shield Master and Improved Two-Weapon Feint.
In the low level, you can get SA from winning initiative and flank. On mid, high level, you can get SA from feint and Hunter's Surprise. And, slayer have lots of thing to get AOO.
I don't play with, but i think slayer vanguard can be good archer or throw weapon warrior.

Human paladin 4 (God: Desna)
Stat: CHAR>DEX>CON
Feat:
1) Noble Scion(War) and (Fey Foundling or Alternate Racial Trait(Focused Study) or power attack or piranha strike)
3) Divine Fighting Technique(Way of the Shooting Star)
Use a Starknife and a buckler. Pyscho Mantys? How about a level in Scaled Fist Monk or Lore Oracle while we're at it? This is nice, if he feel you ac is low. But i like to not delay the high level paladin class abilities... You can choose racial heritage+kobold confidence, but this is too much :p
1 person marked this as a favorite.

Oracle > Inquisitor > or warpriest. The party has a ranger so that's at least a wand user but an Oracle would probably be best. I am, however, always a proponent of doubling up on Paladins. Whether they worship the same God or not, there can be friendly competition and if at least one of you is present, the party has a paladin. That's interesting actually, as our paladin is actually the least likely one to turn up! Any recommendations on how to build an interesting one? I recommend straight paladin, something like:
Human paladin 4 (God: Desna)
Stat: CHAR>DEX>CON
Feat:
1) Noble Scion(War) and (fey Foundling or Alternate Racial Trait(Focused Study) or power attack or piiranha strike)
3) Divine Fighting Technique(Way of the Shooting Star)

The spelling is psicrystal BTW. Yep those are the ones I was looking for thank you but unfortunately they seem to be restricted to psionic classes only which sucks, I just want a familiar that actually gets hit die for feats.... Familiar with feats? Maybe Fighter(Eldritch Guardian).
uhum, only a class? No divine spellcaster in the party?
Oracle > Inquisitor > or warpriest.

At weapon master 3/sohei 6 you'd be pretty powerful. Still, I'd like to see a dpr breakdown with the same level of depth that the builds on p. 2 of this thread included, along with analysis along the lines of Blind Monkey conducted as proof. There's probably room for six levels of Sohei monk in a "Everybody make a 15th-level character!" scenario, but I doubt I would ever play a multiclass martial archer from 1st-level with it, because the glacial acquisition of feats is just excruciating and you can't Flurry with a bow until you've reached 6th-level in the class and have taken Weapon Training in bows! Inability to coexist (due to alignment reasons) with the best cheese in the game for archers (dipping a level of the barbarian archetype Savage Technologist) during that whole tedious slog makes it even worse.

The build below is a retweaking of one posted a month ago.

STR: 14
DEX+ 17
CON: 12
INT: 12
WIS: 12
CHA: 12
Half-orc racial trait: Sacred Tattoo
traits: Fate’s Favored, Magical Knack[Warpriest]
1 Barbarian [Savage Technologist/Drunken Brute], Extra Rage
2 Warpriest1* [Weapon Focus: Longbow]
3 Warpriest2* [fervor], Deadly Aim
4 Ninja1 [SA+1d6], dex>18
5 Ninja2 [Ki pool][Combat Trick:Combat Reflexes], Quick Draw
6 Samurai1 [Order of the Warrior][Resolve:1/day]
7 Weapon Master1 [feat: Point-Blank Shot], Rapid Shot
8 Weapon Master2 [feat: Manyshot], dex>19
9 Weapon Master3 [Weapon Training longbow], Clustered Shots
10* Weapon Master4 [feat: Advanced Weapon Training: Fighter’s Tactics]
11* Samurai2 Feat (WS:Longbow, Improved Critical, or Improved Precise Shot)
12* Samurai3 [Resolve:2/day][Weapon Expertise: longbow], dex>20
* On or around 10th, a Silver Spindle ioun stone will... First Level is not bad for sohei. You only is not too good(ZAM is better in the first 3 levels).
And, nice build. I'm a bit lazy to read all the text, but challenger is not for meele only attacks?
Another good:
Paladin 2/Synthesist(slam/pounce) 18.
IDK if unchained is good, but you can create a creature with slam attacks. In the mythic levels, you can reform your eidolon to only use one attack: Mythic Vital Strike.
For feats: Noble Sion(War), Vital Strike-chain(late game), Eldritch Heritage(orc)+QSLA+Optimistic Gambler, Racial Heritage(kobold)+Kobold Confidence(IF you think you need more fortitude...), and maybe Unhindering Shield.
For mythic stuff: Enduring Armor or Armor Master, Mythic Smite, Display of Charisma+Noble Sion(War), Arcane Surge and Mythic Vital Strike.
And REMEMBER: Always Mythic Power Attack and Legendary Itemx3.
IDK how you will merge Unchained monk(dont need too), but sohei is a good option. Win initiative is win the game, sohei can help this and trigger Medusa Wrath in the first round of battle. Sohei is good in mythic with Enduring Armor or Armor Master, Fleet Charger or Fleet Warrior(or pummeling style in non mythic levels) and Precision.
A little dip in fighter(or something like, brawler maybe?) that to get Shiel Prof. and qualify for Unhindering Shield if you feels your ac a little low.
For advanced Weapon Training options choose: Focused Weapon(unarmed strike), Trained Initiative, Fighter’s Reflexes(if you dont use DEX over STR).
For Quinggong: barskin and get Shadow Step or somethong like that.
I played a sohei archer and this is a good character, but unarmed works too.
And REMEMBER: Always Mythic Power attack and Legendary Itemx3.

I would like to see your Sohoi/Weapon Master reach that damage.
Sohei(8)+weapon master(4):
8 attacks(without Team work feat)
DMG: 1D8+16+STR_MOD+MAGIC_WEAPON_BONUS
This in the first round of combat(always act on surprise round), great init, more feats(PBM is possible, but not mandatory), a great to-hit, all good saves, "full attack and move", maybe spending only lots of arrows and some others bonus.
If you like more damage:
figther(trench) 5/ Monk Sohei(7):
7 touch attacks (without Team work feat)
DMG: 1D8+16+DEX_MOD+MAGIC_WEAPON_BONUS
Just for fun, bane and "Orc bloodline+quick spell like" is a option for monks and fighter too, but i don't add to this examples.
