Promise's face looses any expression as he replies, "Necromancy has it's uses. Healers can draw on its power to cure those at the very threshold of death. In my own work the dead have occasionally pointed the way when more traditional methods have stalled. However uncontrolled necromancy can kill a city faster than any army. We will find the truth. If death-mages or some dark cult is behind this they will be stopped and brought to judgement. The greatest weapon in this type of crime is secrecy and we have taken that weapon away. I have every confidence that we will uncover the truth very soon."[/b] ![]()

Well we have no idea if we will start with cash. We could all start chained to oars with nothing but the odd loincloth between us. It appears to be too early to worry about gear. I suspect the DM has things in hand however. Just need some time. ![]()

Bio. (note this is a skeleton. Details are subject to refinement.)
Promise was an oblate. A child given to the church at a tender age. He grew up in cathedrals and monasteries and wind-swept hermitages. When he was younger he had ambitions for the priesthood but the inquisition noticed his skill at understanding the way others think and drew him into their shadow. His mind is his own. His ways are his own. But his results have so far stilled any criticism. ![]()
