No posts under any alias since October 15th. I believe we have lost our Gm.
In the absence of the Gm I think I can confidently call this game. Goodbye all, this was an odd game but it had promise.

Promice's face is grave.
"No quest will make someone a man. It can make them a corpse however. Are you willing to risk that? Is he?"

(sorry guys , had a small prob with a laptop and a glass of wine over the weekend.)

(just to clarify , Fubar, Promise and Chellid are the only ones here atm)..

Bagdati starts to fluster , ' We cant have people breaking out of there coffins, its a bad example for the town...something must be done...I insist Archbishop , your men here must help'

Chellid stands up , smiles , 'Sir , I understand your concern' He turns to Promise, "Investigator Hapalo is it ? I for one feel this is of the utmost importance, not only for the safety of the town , but state of its finances too', Bagdati misses the sarcasm in the young Halfings voice as he emphasises that the saftey is more important than the financial wellbeing. "What say you?"

Promise's face looses any expression as he replies, "Necromancy has it's uses. Healers can draw on its power to cure those at the very threshold of death. In my own work the dead have occasionally pointed the way when more traditional methods have stalled. However uncontrolled necromancy can kill a city faster than any army. We will find the truth. If death-mages or some dark cult is behind this they will be stopped and brought to judgement. The greatest weapon in this type of crime is secrecy and we have taken that weapon away. I have every confidence that we will uncover the truth very soon."[/b]

Promise replies to Fubar taking care not to interrupt Mr.(mayor?)Bagdati.
"Do not sell yourself short. You have specialized skills, training and the favor of the gods. If this is a case of necromancy you will be pivotal in solving it."

Promise remains at silent attention beside his superior and examines the two newcomers. He cannot decide if he will work with them, or around them.

Yep we are in a flashback. Nice media res start james. Sorry I missed it. Should have equ done tonight. Thanks for letting me in.

um... did I miss the post where folks were selected for this game?
I don't know if I am playing in it and if I am knowing how you wand us to deal with equipment would be lovely.

Wealth by level or nothing or.......

Just us chickens.

Did you get my character e-mail?

Also, as I've said multiple times, I'd really like clarification on whether I can scribe spells into me spellbook as described in the core rules.

Well we have no idea if we will start with cash. We could all start chained to oars with nothing but the odd loincloth between us. It appears to be too early to worry about gear. I suspect the DM has things in hand however. Just need some time.

Just finishing up

2 questions.

1. How do you want to deal with Hit points? Max first and roll here on the board? PFS average +1?

2.Starting cash. Should we bother with equipment? If so do we get wealth by level for 6th level folks i.e. 16k gold no more that 8k on any one item?

If its not in the precribed books , then sorry , its not in the game..

As for spells etc, please all calm down , I know its fun about creating and designing characters, but slow down , relax...I am having problems just keeping up with you all , your steaming ahead and I am loosing what sort of PC you want to play.

thanks

James

No problem boss. We all just got a little excited and got to jabbering with each other.

My breakdown

Race: Human
Ethnicity: Taldan, raised by Church of Iomedae
Class: Inquisitor
Archetype: none
Alignment LG or NG will decide soon.

Bio. (note this is a skeleton. Details are subject to refinement.)
"My Father was a pious man. He prayed that if his wife and child lived then he would pledge that child to the church. We lived. And that is why I am here. Now you need to tell me exactly why you have forty pounds of Shiver in the back of your bookshop. I suggest make it good."

Promise was an oblate. A child given to the church at a tender age. He grew up in cathedrals and monasteries and wind-swept hermitages. When he was younger he had ambitions for the priesthood but the inquisition noticed his skill at understanding the way others think and drew him into their shadow. His mind is his own. His ways are his own. But his results have so far stilled any criticism.

Not a bad group. Little light on the divine. But we can get wands etc. to cover some of the holes.
