So here I am, at the table with my buddies, having just finished a one-and-done level 14 game as a Geo/Aerokineticist (deliciously broken, by the way). I jokingly ask my GM if I could play as a rampant butterfly catcher with some kind of magical/enchanted/silly butterfly net.
Then I got to thinking.
Wouldn't a nice, easy character to play consist of a few rouge talents, some stealth and combat manoeuvre bonuses, and a butterfly net?
But this butterfly net is so much more sinister: that's right folks, make it a Bag of Holding on a stick.
So, would a medium- or large-sized Bag of Holding affixed firmly to a pole basically be able to one-shot any given creature dependent on breath, so long as the creature's head fits? Also, enlarge spells could be used for bigger baddies.
What does the peanut gallery think? I'm dying to try this out in my GM's new low-mid level campaign.
Just imagine. Shadowdancer + CMB + Stealth + ??? = Profit
