The original agreement, which TSV alternates between changing the terms of and denying it applied to them, was that EoX would stop engaging in PvP in EBA land for a reciprocation of action from the EBA, or apparently just teo in nihimons mind. Base camps and escalations where never banned, in fact cheatle and I agreed that any of our members found in the others land was fair game. If TSV had killed the trespassers there would have been no issues. Durring the truce we continued to kill any EBA members we found up in our mountain. Of which there where quite a few. TSV took a tower form AGC, we responded by taking towers from them and engaging characters around phaeros. TEO took all of our towers, we responded by removing the restriction on banditry in the area around teo. In fact I even sent PMs to teh leaders of keepers pass and Brigthhaven warning them that we would be killing people around phaeros and to warn their members. This entire incident has proven that negotiation with the EBA is impossible. Any one city that is a member can just scrap any agreement the over all oganization makes. Unless we where expected to not take the fight TSV after they attacked us.
When training and character power was tied to settlements it killed the bandits. I myself wanted to lead a group of assassins that worked for anyone who wanted us. Now I lead the only large evil group in the game because in order to get training I have to be in a city. As long as bandits are definitively tied to a hard location they will get smushed. If they become big enough to defend themselves from large groups they aren't really bandits any more.
A raven lands on Theodum's shoulder, it carries a scroll of parchment in its talons. The bird drops the parchment and flys away. A ghostly voice emits from the paper. " What would you consider proof of the bounties fulfillment? You may speak your response and we will hear it." The parchment falls silent, the only mark on it is a blood red hand. * who says RP can't be fun?*

Oh no, our towers. I take it that our deal with TSV is off then?
It's not about enough fighting. And it is not about just generating more PvP for me to go do. These places are suppose to be deadly and have the best stuff. Right now there is zero added risk for way more reward. It puts the equation out of balance. To throw this phrase back at you guys who love to use it so much. There is zero meaningful choice to going in to these hexes. The best stuff at the same risk as any other hex? Sign me up.
Ok look if in a sand box game you are in an alliance with someone I am fighting, even if you only provide them gear, you mine as well be fighting me a well. You can't be non aggressive when you are providing a major belligerent with gear. Even if you aren't making them items they sill have access to your crafting buildings which shave days off of gear they make for themselves. Any time a member of EBA makes an aggressive action wearing items made in your city you are being aggressive. You are a threat because everything in this game ties in to conflict. Anyone who wants to fight TEO or TSV or any member of EBA is fighting you even if they never actually hit you. I am not making this post as some sort of declaration of war or an other such melodramatic BS it just bothers me that someone thinks they can be non aggressive when they feed the economy of the largest group in the game and then they go don't kill us we aren't attacking you.
TEO Cheatle wrote: Well, until someone gives me the name of a member that actually did this, or screen shots, or basically anything at all other than "a member of TEO attacked someone in a starter settlement," I am pretty much not going to do anything. This thread is just targeting TEO without any actual evidence. Yes, a new guy accidentally took a tower out in the middle of no where, no harm no foul, but calling a member out without any actual evidence is erroneous and debasing. Welcome to the last 2 years of my PFO life.

With the state of WoT as it is right now with the attackers gaining points for anyone in the tower no mater how many defenders are their it is impossible to defend a tower against any sort of determined attack. A group of naked attackers (suffering no gear durability penalty) can slowly but surly take any tower unless the defenders out number then enough to kill them as they run at them. Tonight an out numbered force of Golgothans took a tower we really had no business winning simply by grinding our faces against the defenders and sticking it out until we hit 1000 points. We kept fighting but we could have just run in circles healing ourselves till we died and won all the same.

Identify Friend from foe is a large barrier to larger pvp engagements but I'm sure it is getting worked on. Having some way to get teh attackers and defenders to not spawn in the same spot would also be amazing.
