I've set up replacements to go out with the pending subscription shipment. Usually this type of thing is a one time issue, but if this becomes a continued problem you'll want to either bring it up with your local post office or consider switching up delivery addresses or methods.

thanks

I'll do that. Thanks so much for the help!

Hello,

I've been out of the country since early September. When I returned home this week I found that the shipment I received that was sent on October 25th was very badly damaged. The envelope was destroyed and the three products inside are mangled and torn beyond use.

Is there anything you can do to replace these?

The products damaged were: Dynamite #2, The Shattered Star adventure path module "The Asylum Stone", and Murder's Mark (Pathfinder Module).

Thank you and I hope you can help me out!

When I read that the project had enough to get to production "in a few years" my manager's radar buzzed. My first question would be "How many years?"

If people give more money now what is the committed date for delivery in production mode?

Software designers are notorious for failing to make commitments on time and with desired features due to unforeseen problems. I think I'll just wait until this is a real product and pay to play at that time. That way if it ever happens I can truly enjoy it, but if all that ever happens is a demo/alpha/beta and it's half of "a few years" I'll not have spent money on this that I could have spent on other entertainment.

I do realize that most of the people here are huge supporters of this project. That's great and I too am hoping this comes to fruition. But I think that Paizo need to be very clear and realistic about this project or risk one of their most precious commodities - their stellar reputation for meeting delivery schedules with superb quality products.

Deathward's description says:
" The subject is immune to energy drain and any negative energy effects..."

Does this mean that spells like Waves of Exhaustion, whose effects are described as "Waves of negative energy cause all living creatures in the spell's area to become exhausted...."?

Or is there a keyword in a description that should be present?

Basically I'm wondering:
1. Does Deathward make the target immune to anything described as "negative energy"?

- or -
2. Is there some list of specific "negative energy effects" that I can refer to for clarification?

Thanks!

Can a PC take a 5' Step and then take a standard action in a surprise round? We had a discussion about this evening and the DM (me) ruled that the 5' step would be an "action" in the surprise round. A player felt it should be allowed.

Thoughts?

Thanks for any input and clarification.

Indeed! tis working now.

Hello,

I need to purchase 2 PFS scenerios so I can download and print them today. Both of my cards, which have been working, were declined. There's no problem with the cards. Can you check and see if there's something wrong at Paizo's end?

Thanks - Pat Smith
PS. I'm a little concerned about this since there is a large subscription shipment going out for me early next week and I don't want it to fail due to some problem.

Is it the intent for this adventure to be Pathfinder Society compatible? If so, does anyone know when the chronicle sheet will be out?

thanks!

We're having a discussion in our group about this. If you have successfully grappled an opponent and you then move them, do they provoke attacks of opportunity as they leave threatened squares of your allies?

The rules are specific about how bull rush doesn't do this, but it's not specific about "move" under grapple preventing them.

Thoughts?

Sorry if this is covered but I'm a bit unclear on one possible scenario that's about to come up here for our GM's.

It's clear that if you have a level 1 PC and you run a scenario at sub-tier 1-2 you get that credit. It's also clear that if you run one that you don't have a PC ready for then you hold the sheet.

I get what happens if your PC is between the sub-tiers.

What do you do if you have a level 4 PC and you run a scenario at level 1-2. Can you take the sheet for your level 4 PC at sub-tier 4-5?

In other words, can you take the scenario credit for the PC at the level appropriate for the PC?

Hi,

We just started playing pathfinder society in our area about a month ago.

I purchased the new "Ultimate Magic" book and am running a Magus. Because of that I'm curious to know how soon it takes to find out what is or isn't legal for PFS play from this new book.

I gather the Magus is completely legal, but are any other options legal upon release or do these have to appear on the "legal resources page" (which I have looked and see that the Ultimate Magic isn't referenced yet).

For example, I'm interested in the blackblade feature. It looks really interesting but I'm not sure if it's legal as part of "Magus", or if only the pages released in the playtest document are legal.

I'm not in a hurry, but I am curious what the typical process/schedule is.

Thanks!

Can a wizard pay to have bonded object, such as a wand, enhanced with magic?

For example could my wizard, who is bonded with a wand, pay to have it enhanced with a magic missile power at 50 charges, if he paid the same as if he purchased it new?

Hi All,

We've started a new PFS group in my area and I'm one of the several GM's in the group. When I play in an adventure I'd like to be able to run it for another group in order to gain the rewards for a second PC or third PC I'd like to have developing.

The problem is that once we run it I can't run it again in this area because everyone except the GM has played it already.

Online GMing for others outside my locale seems a possible way to accomplish my goal while also providing some play opportunities for others.

What are the best online virtual table tops you've seen with Pathfinder? I've used maptools in the past with 4th edition LFR gaming I used to do, but that's the extent of my experience.

Any pointers and experiences with virtual table tops would be greatly appreciated!

Pat

If I pre-order the Ultimate Magic Hardcover does it include the PDF?

Thanks -

Pat,

I reviewed your subscription and, if you are not interested in becoming a charter subscriber at this time, then there is nothing else you need to do.

You are set up so that you will get the final issues of DUngeon and Dragon magazine and then the first 15 volumes of Pathfinder. You can feel free to remove the Pathfinder month-to-month subscription from your shopping cart.

If you have any further questions or concerns, let me know!

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply Cos,

I'm still a little confused.

I thought I was becoming a charter subscriber by converting my subscription over -- I just didn't want to sign up for month-month payments. I prefer to pay 1-2 years at a time, sometimes further (as you can see from my dungeon/dragon subs) so that I don't have a continual bill on my credit card. This also provides me with a every couple of years to see if I want to renew or not.

So, if I have to sign up for month-month to get charter-status I guess I'll do that.

Was I following the correct steps?
- Go to my cart (where the month-month is sitting)
- check out and pay with a credit card?

I assume I won't be charged anything for 15 months - Is that correct?

Thanks for your help.

hello,

I'm transitioning my dragon and dungeon subs over to PathFinder, and will have 15 issues coming.

I don't see a button that gets me to "checkout". Here's what I did:

1. Checked "convert to Pathfinder" on the transition page.
2. Submitted changes.
3. See the same page with "the changes have been made, proceed to checkout".

How do I proceed to checkout? there's not a checkout button on the page.

In an attempt to work it through I clicked on my cart and saw month-to-month pathfinder in the cart, but I don't want to sign up for that just yet, I just want to take my 15 issues and decide later if I want to sign up month-to-month.

What should I do?
