Good idea with the mannequin.
I also want to include Perdition in my Iron Gods campaign and have thought about most all of your ideas myself. I like the idea with the Technic League Captain (which I haven't came up with) and will steal this for my group. This solves the problem I had, that there is a mining operation and nobody cares about it. It's too similiar to Torch (at least for my taste) and giving this in the hand of the League... now as I think about it, it's just too easy to fix. I wonder, why I haven't come up with this myself...

Same with the mannequin. I probably will steal your idea for my campaign. I normally wanted to run The Drifter as written and hope, that no one will realize that he doesn't behave like a "normal" Android (even if my party has one Android amongst them...).
Changing him into a mechanical being makes more sense. Thanks for that!

Our group had a big laugh at the marketplace in Whitethrone:
The party of five entered the marketsquare, found the vortex and realized (natural 20 on their spellcraftcheck) what this is about. So they went to find the power sources of the vortex.
They tried to talk with the Dawn Piper at the pool, which I played quite arrogant (in the end, they were just 5 humans!). They tried it nice and with diplomacy, they tried it hard and with intimidation, but it was no good (and the oracle at my group has Charisma 22!).
So they killed him and his little spriggan.
With the Dawn Piper at the floating rocks they weren't so patient when they found out, that he is just as his dead brother... So they killed him too. The wizard of the group muttered: "If we find another one of those and he talks to us like that he will get hit with a a snowball!"
Well, they came to the dead tree. The last Dawn Piper saw them and began: "Go away Mortals! The hut of the witch is ours and we will not yiel..." PAFF! She got hit with a true striked Snowball right in the face, which started the battle with the last of the three.

We had a good laugh and talked about it even the day after....

That's just brilliant! Again!
Too bad I'm already running Pitax as it is written....

If you're Anarchitect or another of my players, don't read this, you'll ruin your own fun! :P

This is sooo great, I really want to adopt it.

Unfortunatly, the realm of my players is ruled by "The divine Sisters" (a female paladin and a druid, which are twins). So this won't work.
The General is a barbarian, which was abducted as a child by faeries. Since then he has "a grudge" against them...
Which leaves the spymaster (an elven Magus) as the last male party member... Maybe I can do something similiar to him, but it won't be easy!

But this is so great! :oD

Soo....

Last weekend was our first session (or first sessions) with the 6-player conversion.
I asked my players if they are good with this decision (after all, it's their game too) and after a short hesitation they agreed. As a bonus I introduced the plot cards to my group. All of my players liked the idea of the cards and they were totally disappointed that I gave them only two cards each (despite the fact that they were already fourth level).

They encountered the lonly warrior, Howl-of-the-North-Wind, Tiressia (and the Scythe-Tree) and Corax with his lumberjack friends. Sunday we did the ruined keep (including the Dancing Lady) and Kundal (they weren't at home for quiet some time and I missed my opportunity to trigger this event earlier). All in all it went quiet well! At first, they were surprised, even shocked when they met the Lonly Warrior (first converted encounter for them, not counting the skeleton champions in the two rooms before him). They said that it was quiet a difference going from totally easy fights to really challenging ones. But they did well (with only two energy drains, which were cured the following day; the barbarian used a hero point to get +8 and the paladin tried without, failing only on a 1-3. Both were healed!).

At the end of the weekend we had two death's (of which one was a random encounter), which were prevented by hero points and (almost) all agreed that it was a good idea to "put up the difficulty".
I also liked it a lot. Where my players used hero points only once before in the campaign (to enhance an economy check), they burned 13 points in total during the weekend! They also played 5 of their plot cards. All in all it was a blast!

So (I know, I repeat myself ;o) ): Thank you for all your hard work to create this conversion and putting it online! I will continue using it!
