CLASS ABILITIES
Bloodline Arcana: Whenever you cast a spell of the summoning subschool, the creatures summoned gain DR/adamantine equal to 1/2 your sorcerer level (minimum 1). This does not stack with any DR the creature might have. Tremor (Sp): At 1st level, as a standard action, you can cause the ground to shake beneath a single creature within 30 feet, functioning as a trip maneuver using your sorcerer level plus your Charisma modifier in place of your CMB. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier. Rockseer (Su): At 3rd level, you gain the stonecunning trait as adwarf; if already a dwarf, your bonus improves to +4. At 9th level, you gain tremorsense 30 feet. At 15th level, you can see through solid objects as if using a ring of x-ray vision for a number of rounds per day equal to your sorcerer level. These rounds do not need to be consecutive. Inspiration (Su) A nymph can choose an intelligent creature to inspire and serve as a muse by giving that creature some token of her affection (typically a lock of her hair). As long as the nymph retains her favor for this creature and as long as the creature carries the nymph's token, the creature gains a +4 insight bonus on all Will saving throws, Craft checks, and Perform checks. A bard who has a nymph for a muse in this way can use his bardic performance for an additional number of rounds per day equal to his nymph muse's Charisma modifier. The nymph retains a link to her token and its carrier as if she had cast a status spell on the carrier. The nymph can end this effect at any time as a free action. A single nymph may only inspire one creature at a time in this manner. Syntira, being an especially powerful Nymph, adds the following Bonuses: Once per day the inspired character can cast Eagle's Splendor CL 14, 1/day the inspired can teleport (as Dimension Door) CL 14 ------------------------------ GEAR/POSSESSIONS

Backstory:
Miranda Mason smiled. A year ago she had wed her handsome man and a week ago she had given birth to her darling twins. They were two beautiful peas in a pod: creamy skin, sky blue eyes, and curls the color of turning maple leaves. The fact that they had been born on midsummer's eve was an auspicious sign she knew. Life was perfect. She stood rocking their cradle under the bright, silver light of the waxing gibbous. She smiled and then went to bed. The morning light revealed an empty cradle and the lives of Miranda and Benjamin Mason were never the same. Their twins -- Jaxom and Jessa -- were raised by brownies serving the fey queen, Syntira. The brownies named the girl child Dark-Twin and the boy child Stone-Twin. Their childhood was an endless fey revel. They were weaned on the milk of unicorns. Their days were banquets of dew and flower blossoms; their nights were faery-rings and starlight dances. Their companions were the fey and woodland creatures. The foundlings did not know other mortals, but the brownies told them that they were a blessing of Imbrex and their guardianship an offering to the Eldest. Whatever other motives that lurked behind their theft, the twins were never told. As they grew, so too grew their magic. Jaxom drew his strength from the bones of the earth. Jessa, on the other hand, drew hers from ending of the years. They grew to fit their names. Jessa malingered with wicked sprites. Though she is not evil, she is as cruel and capricious as a winter storm. Jaxom, on the other hand was a solid and as patient as stone. the nobles of Syntira's court taught him chivalry and dubbed him their thistle knight. As different as they are, the twins remain united in their affection for each other. Life cannot always be fun and games. Trouble came to Darkmoon Vale -- disease, undeath, and other stranger things. Jessa and her clique were sent to investigate these dark happenings. They did not return. Mortal heroes arose and did good service to the fey queen. All debts must be paid, and trouble still stirred in Darkmoon Vale. Syntira called Jaxom to her bower. "Go my thistle knight, go and seek out the mortals who think themselves heroes. Find the elf, Gilmork. Tell him that Syntira, Queen of Darkmoon Vale, has pledge your leal service for a year and a day to him and his companions. More importantly, find your sister. It is an ill omen that the offering to Imbrex is lost." The queen tied her favor to his arm and sent Stone-Twin back amongst the mortals. Personality and Personality:
Height: 5'9"
Jaxom is a caricature of courtly chivalry and romance. It is unclear whether the fey court is that stylized or if the manners they taught him are a joke. Formal in speech and loyal to a fault, Jaxom means well but has no experience socializing with people other than the fey. |
