If everyone is ready to leave for the Acreon we can begin the journey into the quarantine zone.

"Farewell, and thank you for your time." Otal says as he watches you leave his office.

Otal gives Kov'i a dismissive smile in response to his question, then quickly changes subjects to Ehron's question.
"Well to be clear the language of the contract doesn't state that specifically, though they are arguing that it is implied, and they do have some grounds for that based on precedence to be honest. I fear something horrible happened on that ship though, and after what was uncovered by Duravor I have a feeling the Astral Extractions is behind it."

Sense Motive 25:
Ehron seems a little too sure that there is something bad aboard the Aceron and his tone seems to suggest he maybe even hopes for it. It could be that he just hopes to be right and blame the Astral Extractions, or maybe he knows a bit more.

Otal looks at Zetara and chooses his words carefully."We had a contract to investigate unstaked mining claims among asteroids and give them the information. We did that. We made no promises to physically bring such a claim back with us for them. The one we brought back was for designated for our use. We also feel that we can no longer do business with the Astral Extractions after the evidence you uncovered in their duplicity in Duravor's murder and the information Duravor himself uncovered about the abuses miners had received while working for them."

Does anyone else refuse to toast? Continuing with the assumption to that questions is no, but if I am incorrect let me know.

After the toast. Otal looks at each of you and thanks you sincerely. "Now we shall get down to business ok? The Hardscrabble Collective isn't disputing the Astral Extractions' contract with the Acreon we are happy to turn all of the files and findings from the ship's prospecting mission over to the company, but the ship, and the claim its crew staked on the Drift Rock, belong to the Collective."

As he takes you through his ship, some of you get some looks. Technomancers are a rarity on the ship and Zetara had made a name for herself on Absalom Station so she gets occasional glances and Garland and Duanimon are known to some within the Hardscrabble for helping Jabaxa so they are getting looks from people in the know of the criminal element.

Ehron gets a warm welcome. Sarcesians are common on the Dust Runner as a mining ship it is no stranger to the Diaspora so for the first time in a while he does not stick out like a sore thumb.

Scera and Kov'i are avoided. Lashunta are rare on the ship and Vesk are represented on the ship, they are still seen as quick to anger.

Once you get to his quarters there is a hearty meal prepared from the galley set up for you to enjoy. It isn't fancy food, or maybe even the best, but it is nutritious and filling. Once you are comfortable Otal begins to speak.
"First let me say, you folks are a bit of a celebrity around here even if you don't know it. Your help in discovering what happened to Duravor and retrieving his lost files has really helped our cause. " Otal raises his glass and encourages you to do the same. "To Duravor Kreel"

When you arrive Otal greets you at the docking bay inside his large freighter the Dust Runner He bows and says "Follow me please, I have prepared food and drink in my quarters."

For those of you that had heard of Otal before, his ship is no surprise to you. Though large and capable, it is a very dismal atmosphere. As you walk through the ship you can't help but get covered in dust from various extraction operations going on.

Shortly after you leave the Bluerise Tower, you get a call from a redskinned human that looks to be from Akiton.

"I understand you met with the Astral Extractions. I am Captain Serissi, you can call me Otal. I would like to invite you aboard my ship, the Dust Runner in the collective side of the Armada. If you require transport I am prepared to send a ship. "

Culture DC 10 Absalom Station:
Captain Serissi is the unofficial spokesman of the Hardscrabble Collective. He is an outspoken defender of worker rights. His ship the Dust Runner is a large mining freighter with little in the way of comforts.
