I'll still be checking on occasion, just in case. All my PBPs have slowed down enough that I don't check often though. Kinda like Terwin's sentiment.

Luckily I have enough PFS/home games to waste more time than I should be anyway :P

Terwin summed it up, that's basically what I'm trying to get at.

Its been a bit tricky balancing Orren's curiosity and desire for information with maintaining a sense of "good." He's not too fond making promises for info and then killing, but if it must be done...

My initiative modifier is only +1, though it doesn't really change anything.

Orren calls out to Nethys, requesting his divine protection for him and his allies. He then moves to the side, hoping to line up a shot at the spider. He activates his deflection aura, giving everyone +2 AC for the next round.

"From my understanding, these men seem to think the goblins have acquired some sort of 'stone.' Whether it is actually of any consequence is debatable, but the goblins seem to believe it is so. This could be why they've grown so bold. Ending the goblin attacks outright would surely yield a greater reward."

Orren takes one of the watches past midnight, taking time to pray after waking the next watcher before retiring for the last few hours left to morning.

In the morning:
"Chance here seems to be our tracking expert. If either Jia or Navarro have the skill to aid him, they should take the front with him and the other guard our rear. If not, you both could watch our backs." He picks his staff up from a nearby tree. "Sad to say I'm not much use in direct conflict, and I suspect you'd prefer not to either, Terwin." He says with a kind smile.

"Could it be...?" Orren turns back to the group and whispers: "I can't be sure without seeing these masks, but I know cultists of the Living God Razmir are known to wear iron masks. They are fanatics based on the far side of Lake Encarthan. Though what they're doing this far from Razmiran I cannot say." A scowl sets on his face, for those that can see clearly enough. "They could be quite dangerous."

"Still, they must be after something important if they have come this far. I second Ms. Li's suggestion of tracking them come morning."

Dang, thought I had a spell for tracking but it's personal-only =p I'll prep a truthtelling spell JIC though.

Orren, not quite having fallen asleep yet, quietly stands from his bedroll and picks up his quarterstaff and holy symbol. Following Terwin's gesture, he spots the fire and, cocking his head, manages to barely make out some voices.

In a hushed voice, he asks, "Terwin, would Wilberforce be willing to fly over and take a look? Presuming he can do so without being seen." Turning to the parrot, "Can you see well enough in this darkness?"

Once a few more members are awoken, "Now would probably be a good time to mention I've been blessed with acute nightvision, similar to that of the Dwarven race, if you are familiar. Though, only at a range of approximately 60 feet." One corner of his mouth picks up slightly. "Though I must also admit that skulking about undetected in the brush has never been my forte."

"Agreed. Perhaps we should pay a visit to the goblin outcast we learned of yesterday? He could prove a valuable source of information." (I'm not sure if that's on the way or not.)

"As for the cloak (much thanks for discerning it's properties Terwin), it would best serve the more martially inclined of our group, Chance or Cyrus for instance, or perhaps Navarro." He smiles at Jia Li. "I'd include you in that list, but it seems a cloak might interfere with your practiced flow."
