Edwin and Ollie and Buttons: Ollie was quiet enough during the ride, trusting Edwin. When they exit, he keeps Buttons close by his side, and then answers Edwin "You're welcome, Edwin. I don't plan on saying too much unless asked if I can help myself. Your Clan's a bit... rigid for my tastes, no offense but I see no reason to be a bad guest."

There is a sniffing at the door, PROBABLY the dog, and then a moment later, Ollie opens it up Buttons at his side, "Yeah As ready as we get."

Ollie and Buttons: He feels the strength on him and nods Not just a feeding ground. This one could be a Nos' ghoul. That means what I say around him gets to his boss. Oh well, that's not a bad thing always. "you're welcome...been there myself." He doesn't scream 'I'm a gangrel' at the guy, but says "I hope you have more friends out there helping you along. Sometimes it's not what you know, it's who."

Ollie and Buttons: I wonder if it's some use of animalism I haven't reached yet, soothing the beast or whatever the hell it is called. Would make this a fine feeding ground for nosferatu. It's just a theory, but it's not like he hasn't seen folks who are better than him at such disciplines and he is a Gangrel. The poverty stricken are rarely in good health, but he looks for signs of mild bloodloss as if to confirm his suspicion. Even donating a five dollar bill to get close to one if need be.

Ollie will take Buttons for another walk, and appraise the immediate neighborhood around his new haven. He wants to get feel for crowds and types of kine that frequent there for future hunting purposes and looking at the largest risks to the masquerade. Other than that, he's probably done.

"Well, when a voice in your head asks you to meet them and you're NOT a ..." He stops realizing there are Malks among them likely "Not prone to such, you tend to not want to ignore it. I think it would be a bit later so you guys could squeeze it in but I pretty much have to go." I think we can do one thing after another that night, ST can correct me :o

"Way I see it, Buttons and I are already marked as your friends whether we are or not, Edwin so probably best to stick with you. I lean Anarch, I'll say that flat out, but that don't always work out well. I think I agree with Doc Baker that I'm not crazy about the current guy."

Ollie had waited patiently then when folks came back he answered Edwin, "If we trust everyone here, sure. I was near the Dog park when I felt watched. At first I figured it was just Alex again unable to get enough of my charming personality, but then I get a conversation in my head. ', Careful, careful...we wouldn't want to break your precious masquerade...' and the 'your' masquerade line got me very curious indeed. The voice got very coy if it was a friend or an enemy, but told me to call it the Hound." He looks at Buttons, "I assume no relation." then looks back at Edwin and continues "He suggested the city was ripe for a change, and said the question was which side I would be on. Lots of sides involved says I, and he agrees there mentioning the Prince, the ANarchs... and two former princes. While it was cloaked in metaphors galore, the general warning was something big was coming and if we didn't pick a side as a group well, you know the usual. I pointed out this smacked of elders using us. He got that. Said there was another hound...and Said 'Maxwell ran away once before, what's to stop him from doing so again? He will not hesitate to sacrifice those who support him to save his skin...again.'" The Gangrel scratches his chin, "Then I got an offer, and as i told him I was going to ask my 'smarter friends' I think he knew I would share it. If we choose to the Hound there is a meet below the 35th and Cermak station on the redline tomorrow night.'"

Jack and Ollie: Ollie nods and accepts that logic, "Given the craziness in just walking around for us, I guess I can't blame you for being on guard. So you're Jack? Huh. Nice to meet you now that I'm on the guest list." HE looks at his dog "It's okay, Buttons, we're all friendly now." The Dog snorts but seems more at ease.

Ollie: Every time I hear this sort of message, it usually comes from some elder who wants others to die for them so they don't have to. Not saying thats you, glad for the input, but I try to stay off the chessboard, and if I can't? I try to let other pieces destroy themselves while I grab some popcorn. Which is hypocritical of me, I know. But do you have some evidence of what's coming, something concrete? I work with licks who are smarter than me. Maybe if you give useful info I can share with them, they'll sway me where you might not?

Ollie and Buttons, the latter probably better at Politics: Pass on the roll :) but I appreciate the offer The Hound huh? Can amusement leak through this contact? Possibly. Oh well I like dogs so you're taking a decent approach I'll give you that. Okay, Hound. Don't suppose you want to give me some info on what sides there are and which one you think I should be on? We both know I won't trust it but at least you'll have that seed planted whether it will take root or not. He doesn't like intrigues and such, but they're a fact of unlife, and ignorance isn't going to help him or anyone he wants to help either

Ollie and Buttons: You don't sound like my usual train of thought so I'm assuming whoever you are you're actually in my head. Name's Ollie, and YOU are? Despite his attempt to sound casual, he's a bit intimidated. This mind to mind stuff is pretty upthere from what he hears, for Kindred at least. And Buttons' reluctance has him reconsidering.

Dog Park: Ollie wonders if going to the dog park was smart. Necessary maybe, but staying off human blood is tricky enough, and some folks who walk their dogs are in pretty good shape...tempting.
Rat soup for you, Ollie Boy. No awareness for Ollie, so just perception: 3d10 ⇒ (8, 2, 5) = 15

If he thought of it, he might leave a stick of celery for the remaining rats. They have offered up their blood god four of their own, so the rest may partake of the reward. Yup, probably get teased if they find out I do this. If there is a sewer grate or the like near this park he will put the dead rats through it into the water below. The Nosferatu might find them but they might not. If no flowing water meant to take such evidence far far away exists, there's the mutilate and bag it attitude. Take a doggie doo doo bag, mangle, cut (or ask Buttons to bite) the dead rats, then put them in it, tie it up and throw it in the 'regular' trash.
Male Clan Gangrel 12th Gen
The Gangrel goes elsewhere to 'hunt' as it were and for good reason. He's looking for an alley or some other private spot to summon rats. It's not a secret he tells others, but Ollie is a 'Farmer' or whatever the slang term is for one who tries to feed from animal blood instead.
